Book a consultation

Take the first step
towards a calmer mind.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you meet. Choose a verified hypnotherapist — starting with founder Gerald Crawford — and begin with a private, unhurried conversation about what has been looping and whether collaborative hypnotherapy feels right for you.

A conversation first. Your pace. No pressure to commit.
01

No rehearsed story needed

You do not need clinical labels or everything figured out before you arrive. Start with what day-to-day life has felt like lately.

02

A conversation before any commitment

The first session (about 90 minutes) is time to be heard, ask how hypnosis works, and decide together whether the approach feels like a fit.

03

You stay aware & in control

Collaborative hypnotherapy is focused attention, not sleep or stage hypnosis. You remain able to speak, pause, or ask questions at any point.

Your starting point

Start with a consultation request.

Four short steps — choose how you would like to meet, pick the area that feels closest, and share how to reach you. Nothing is confirmed until we agree a time together.

Four short steps. The centre replies to confirm a time — submitting this form is an enquiry, not a confirmed appointment.

What happens after you reach out?

Confirmation, clarity, then connection.

Once you submit your request (or reserve a calendar slot), the centre confirms a suitable time and sends straightforward preparation notes. Online sessions include a private Google Meet link; in-person appointments include full location details.

Questions people ask before booking.

Reaching out for support is easier when you know exactly what happens next, what it costs, and where the boundaries lie.

Is submitting the consultation form a confirmed booking or financial commitment?

No. Submitting a consultation request shares how you would like to meet and how to reach you. Nothing is billed or confirmed until the centre replies and you agree on a suitable time together.

What happens in the first 90-minute consultation?

You and your chosen hypnotherapist talk through what you have been experiencing, what you hope might shift, and any questions you have about hypnosis. They explain how sessions work and outline a suggested plan and fees so you can decide freely whether to continue.

Do I need an account to book?

Yes. Creating a free client account lets you confirm a slot, manage appointments and save favourite hypnotherapists. Enquiry forms without a live calendar slot still work if you prefer to start with a message.

Should I choose an online or in-person appointment?

Both follow the same collaborative conversation and guided work. Online sessions take place on Google Meet across South Africa (from R2,050) and let you settle in your own quiet room immediately afterwards. In-person sessions (from R3,250) are offered at selected locations.

What if I am not sure how to describe what is wrong?

That is very common. You can select 'Prefer to say later' or 'Not sure yet' in the form, or use the 1-minute support guide first. Clarifying the pattern is part of the first conversation.

What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Once an appointment time is confirmed, at least 24 hours notice is requested if you need to cancel or move your session.

Is this an emergency or clinical mental health service?

No. Hypnotherapy Center provides complementary support by appointment and does not diagnose conditions or replace medical or psychological care. If you need urgent support right now, please use appropriate crisis or emergency services first.
