Awaken Your Authentic Self by Forgiving Yourself with Hypnotherapy

This hypnotherapy session is designed to guide you in the process of forgiving yourself, allowing you to release the burdens of self-criticism, guilt, and shame. By letting go of these weights, you can awaken your authentic self and live a more compassionate, empowered life.

Find a quiet, comfortable space where you can sit or lie down without distractions, close your eyes, and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Awaken Your Authentic Self by Forgiving Yourself with Hypnotherapy Script:

Induction:

(Soft, calming music starts playing in the background)

“Allow yourself to relax, feeling the weight of your body supported by the surface beneath you. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, feel any tension or stress leaving your body. Imagine a warm, soothing light beginning to fill the space around you, calming your mind and relaxing your muscles.

As you breathe in, repeat the phrase ‘I am calm’ to yourself. As you breathe out, repeat ‘I am relaxed.’ Allow this calmness and relaxation to deepen with each breath, feeling your body and mind letting go of all tension.

Imagine yourself standing in a peaceful, serene environment, surrounded by nature’s beauty. With each breath, feel your connection to your heart and your true self growing stronger.”

Deepening:

“Now, imagine yourself walking along a winding path, surrounded by tall trees and the sound of gentle water flowing in the distance. As you walk, notice the sensation of your feet touching the ground, feeling the weight and the connection to the earth.

With each step, allow yourself to become more relaxed, more open, and more receptive to the process of self-forgiveness. Remember, forgiveness is not about erasing the past or condoning mistakes, but about releasing the hold that these experiences have on your present and your future.

As you continue on this path, come across a clearing. In the center of this clearing stands a large, ancient tree, its branches stretching towards the sky. This tree represents your higher self, your wisdom, and your capacity for compassion and forgiveness.

Approach the tree, and as you do, feel a sense of calm and peace emanating from it. Allow yourself to sit at the base of the tree, feeling its energy and its wisdom. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, repeat the phrase ‘I am ready to forgive myself.'”

Forgiveness:

“Now, bring to mind a situation or experience from your past that still weighs on your heart. It could be a mistake, a regret, or a perceived failure. Allow yourself to see the situation clearly, but without judgment.

As you reflect on this experience, repeat the following phrases to yourself: ‘I did the best I could with the resources I had at the time. I am not defined by this one experience. I am more than my mistakes.’

Imagine that with each breath, you are releasing the burden of guilt, shame, or self-criticism associated with this experience. Feel the weight lifting, allowing you to breathe more freely, to stand taller, and to see yourself with more compassion and understanding.

Remember, you are human, and it is okay to make mistakes. It is okay to not have all the answers. And it is okay to ask for help. Forgiveness is not about forgetting or excusing, but about freeing yourself from the hold of negative emotions and self-doubt.

As you continue to breathe, imagine that you are enveloping yourself in a warm, loving light. This light represents your capacity for self-love, self-acceptance, and self-forgiveness. Allow this light to fill any areas of pain, regret, or self-doubt, healing and nurturing your heart and your soul.”

Integration and Empowerment:

“Now, take a moment to reflect on the insights and feelings that have arisen during this journey. Notice how you feel about yourself, your life, and your potential. Remember, you have the power to choose how you see yourself and the world around you.

As you prepare to return to your waking state, repeat the following affirmations to yourself: ‘I am worthy of forgiveness and compassion. I trust in my ability to let go of the past and to embrace my present. I am empowered to live my truth, to express myself fully, and to share my gifts with the world.’

Take one final, deep breath in, feeling the energy of your authentic self fully integrated into your being. When you are ready, you can slowly open your eyes, returning to your day with a renewed sense of purpose, compassion, and connection to your true self.”

Awakening:

(Soft, calming music continues to play as you slowly come back to full awareness)

“Take your time, and when you’re ready, slowly open your eyes. Notice how you feel, and remember that the sense of forgiveness, compassion, and connection to your authentic self that you’ve experienced during this hypnotherapy session is always available to you. Carry this feeling with you, embracing your authenticity and living your truth. Remember, forgiveness is a journey, and it’s okay to take it one step at a time. Be patient, be kind, and be compassionate with yourself as you continue on your path towards self-discovery and empowerment.”

Detox Your Heart by Forgiving Yourself with Hypnotherapy

Detox Your Heart by Forgiving Yourself

Things will never be perfect. You will never be perfect. Other people certainly will never be perfect (especially me!). We will never eliminate every toxin – and in fact, the toxins are there for a reason – just like all that bacteria in our bodies and world that seems bad and dirty but in actuality we can’t live without. Every mistake, every wrong action happened. You can’t change it. All you can do is apologize to the other person / people and apologize to yourself and vow to learn and grow from it. That’s living. That’s life! And it’s beautiful in all it’s imperfections, even ours.

Here is a hypnotherapy script for “Detox Your Heart by Forgiving Yourself”:

Induction:

(Soft, calming music plays in the background)

“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll embark on a journey to detox your heart by forgiving yourself. Find a comfortable seated or lying position, with your back supported. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose, and out through your mouth.

Imagine yourself standing in a peaceful environment, surrounded by loving energy. With each breath, allow yourself to relax and let go of any tension.”

Deepening:

“As you inhale, imagine fresh, calming air filling your lungs. As you exhale, imagine any stress, anxiety, or worries leaving your body. Allow your eyelids to grow heavier, and your jaw to release any tension.

Imagine yourself descending a staircase, with each step taking you deeper into relaxation. With each step, feel your body and mind letting go of any resistance. You’re safe, supported, and free to explore your heart.”

Identifying Self-Criticism:

“Now, bring to mind a specific situation or experience where you’ve been self-critical or judgmental. Allow yourself to acknowledge these feelings, and notice where they reside in your body.

Imagine this self-criticism as a heavy, dense energy within your heart. See it as a shadowy figure, or a dark cloud. Allow yourself to observe this energy, without judgment.”

Forgiveness and Release:

“Now, imagine a warm, compassionate light beginning to emanate from your heart. This light represents self-forgiveness, understanding, and kindness. As it grows, it begins to surround the self-criticism, gently dissolving its density.

Imagine this light as a gentle rain, washing away the self-criticism, and filling the space with self-love and acceptance. Repeat the phrase: ‘I forgive myself.’ Allow these words to become a mantra, guiding you deeper into this process.

As the self-criticism dissolves, imagine your heart becoming lighter, freer, and more compassionate. Feel the sense of release and liberation as you let go of self-judgment.”

Heart-Centered Reflection:

“Now, imagine yourself standing in front of a mirror. Look into its reflection, and see your heart shining brightly, filled with self-love and forgiveness.

Ask yourself:

What have I learned about myself and my heart during this journey?

What self-critical patterns am I willing to release, and what self-compassionate practices can I commit to, to nourish my heart and soul?

Listen to your heart’s response, and allow its wisdom to guide you.”

Integration and Awakening:

“As you slowly begin to return to full awareness, take with you the sense of forgiveness and self-love you’ve cultivated. Remember that you’re capable of detoxing your heart, and that self-forgiveness is a powerful tool for healing.

Take a deep breath in, and when you’re ready, slowly open your eyes. Return to your day with a renewed sense of clarity, compassion, and connection to your heart.”

Post-Hypnotic Suggestion:

“Whenever you feel self-critical or judgmental, remember to breathe in compassionate light, and repeat the phrase: ‘I forgive myself.’ Trust that your heart is capable of healing, and that you’re deserving of self-love, forgiveness, and compassion.”
