Take a moment to reflect on the areas where you’ve accepted your humanness, and the self-compassionate phrases you’ve repeated to yourself. See how you feel more relaxed, more calm, and more at peace.
Here is a hypnotherapy script to help individuals accept their humanness:
Induction
(Speak in a calm, soothing tone)
“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll have the opportunity to accept your humanness and cultivate a more loving and compassionate relationship with yourself. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow your body to relax, starting from the crown of your head, down to your toes. Feel the weight of your worries slowly lifting off your shoulders.
Imagine yourself in a peaceful, serene environment, where you feel completely safe and relaxed. This could be a beach, a forest, or a comfortable room in your home. Take a moment to visualize this place, and allow yourself to fully immerse in its tranquility.
As you settle in, take another deep breath in, and as you exhale, repeat after me: ‘I am relaxed, I am calm, I am at peace.'”
Deepening
“Now, I want you to imagine yourself standing in a warm, comforting light. This light represents your inner kindness, your self-acceptance, and your humanness. As you bask in this light, feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more centered, and more connected to your heart.
Repeat after me: ‘I am human, I am imperfect, I am enough.'”
Accepting Humanness
“Bring to mind any areas where you may be struggling to accept your humanness. This could be feelings of inadequacy, self-doubt, or perfectionism. See these feelings as clouds in front of you, blocking your view of your true potential.
As you exhale, imagine these clouds disappearing, and the sun shining through. Repeat after me: ‘I accept my humanness, I accept my imperfections, I accept myself exactly as I am.’
Imagine a warm, soothing light filling the space where the clouds once were. This light represents your self-acceptance, your self-compassion, and your humanness.
Repeat after me: ‘I am kind to myself, I am gentle with myself, I am compassionate towards myself.'”
Self-Compassion
“Now, I want you to repeat some self-compassionate phrases to yourself. These phrases will help you cultivate a more loving and accepting relationship with yourself.
Repeat after me: ‘I am doing the best I can, I am enough, I am worthy of love and respect.’
As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine these phrases sinking deep into your mind and heart. See yourself believing them, feeling them, and living them.
Repeat after me: ‘I am kind to myself, I am gentle with myself, I am compassionate towards myself.'”
Integration
“Take a moment to reflect on the areas where you’ve accepted your humanness, and the self-compassionate phrases you’ve repeated to yourself. See how you feel more relaxed, more calm, and more at peace.
Repeat after me: ‘I choose to accept my humanness, I choose to cultivate self-compassion, I choose to be kind to myself.'”
Closure
“Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, repeat after me: ‘I am human, I am imperfect, I am enough.’
As you slowly open your eyes, take with you the sense of calm, peace, and self-acceptance that you’ve cultivated during this session. Remember, you have the power to accept your humanness, to cultivate self-compassion, and to be kind to yourself.
