Choose to NOT Smoke Again with Hypnotherapy

Imagine the sense of pride and accomplishment that comes with taking control of your health, and the feeling of freedom that comes with being a non-smoker.

Here’s a script for choosing to not smoke again with hypnotherapy:

Introduction

“Welcome, and thank you for taking this important step towards a healthier, smoke-free life. My goal is to help you choose to not smoke again using the power of hypnotherapy. Please find a comfortable and relaxed position, either sitting or lying down, and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Allow yourself to let go of any tension or stress, and simply focus on my voice.”

Induction

“Close your eyes and imagine yourself in a peaceful, safe place where you feel completely relaxed and at ease. With each breath, feel your body becoming heavier, more relaxed, and more calm. As you exhale, imagine any tension or stress leaving your body, like autumn leaves floating gently to the ground. Allow yourself to drift deeper into relaxation, feeling your eyelids growing heavy, and your mind quieting.”

Deepening

“Now, imagine yourself walking down a gentle, winding staircase, with each step taking you deeper into relaxation. As you descend, repeat the phrase ‘I am calm and in control’ to yourself, feeling the truth of these words with each step. At the bottom of the staircase, imagine a warm, comforting light enveloping your body, filling you with a sense of peace and tranquility. Allow yourself to settle into this relaxed state, feeling completely safe and supported.”

Decision to Not Smoke

“As you remain in this relaxed state, I want you to imagine yourself making a conscious decision to not smoke again. See yourself thinking clearly and feeling strongly about your choice to live a healthy, smoke-free life.

Repeat the following phrases to yourself, allowing the words to sink deeply into your subconscious mind:

– I choose to not smoke again.

– I am in control of my choices and actions.

– I trust myself to make healthy decisions.

– I am strong and capable, and I can overcome any challenge that comes my way.”

Visualization

“Imagine yourself in a situation where you would normally smoke, such as after a meal or during a break. See yourself recognizing the urge, taking a deep breath, and choosing a healthier alternative, like going for a short walk or practicing deep breathing exercises. Feel proud of yourself for making this positive choice, and know that you can continue to make healthy decisions in the future. Imagine the sense of pride and accomplishment that comes with taking control of your health, and the feeling of freedom that comes with being a non-smoker.”

Reinforcing the Decision

“Repeat the following phrases to yourself, allowing the words to sink deeply into your subconscious mind:

– I am a non-smoker, and I am in control.

– I choose to live a healthy, smoke-free life.

– I trust myself to make healthy decisions.

– I am strong and capable, and I can overcome any challenge that comes my way.

Imagine a bright, shining light filling your body, representing your inner strength and determination. As you inhale, imagine this light growing brighter and more intense, filling you with a sense of confidence and resolve.”

Conclusion

“Remember, you have the power to choose to not smoke again. Trust in yourself, your abilities, and the techniques we’ve practiced today. When you’re ready, slowly open your eyes, and take a deep breath in, feeling refreshed, renewed, and confident in your ability to stay smoke-free. You got this! And to reinforce this new way of thinking, I want you to repeat the following phrase to yourself whenever you need to: ‘I choose to not smoke again, and I am in control of my life’.”

Final Reinforcement

“I want you to imagine yourself going forward in time, seeing yourself as a happy, healthy, and smoke-free person. Imagine the sense of pride and accomplishment that comes with knowing you’ve made a positive change in your life. Feel the sense of freedom and confidence that comes with being a non-smoker, and know that you can always come back to this state whenever you need to. You are in control, and you choose to live a healthy, smoke-free life.”
