Welcome to this hypnotherapy session. Find a comfortable and relaxed position, close your eyes, and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Allow yourself to let go of any tension or stress, and simply focus on my voice.
Induction
Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase, with each step leading you deeper into relaxation. As you begin to descend, feel your body becoming heavier, your muscles releasing, and your mind quieting. With each step, repeat the phrase “I am relaxing” to yourself, allowing the words to sink deeper into your subconscious.
Deepening
Now, imagine yourself in a peaceful, serene environment – a beach, a forest, or a mountain meadow. Allow the sights, sounds, and sensations of this place to envelop you, calming your mind and soothing your body. As you breathe in, imagine fresh, clean air filling your lungs, and as you exhale, imagine any thoughts or worries leaving your body.
Therapeutic Suggestions
As you continue to relax, I want you to repeat the following phrases to yourself, allowing the words to sink deep into your subconscious:
“I am authentic and genuine in all my interactions, without pretenses or facades.”
“I trust that being myself is enough, and I don’t need to pretend to be someone I’m not.”
“I release the need to impress or manipulate others, and instead, I focus on building meaningful connections with those around me.”
“I am confident in my unique qualities and strengths, and I celebrate what makes me different.”
Self-Acceptance
Imagine yourself looking in a mirror, and instead of critiquing or judging yourself, you see your true self, with all your strengths and weaknesses. See yourself accepting and embracing your flaws, and recognizing that they are a natural part of what makes you, you. Feel the sense of self-acceptance and self-love that arises when you let go of the need to be perfect or pretend to be someone you’re not.
Authentic Expression
Now, imagine yourself expressing yourself authentically, without fear of judgment or rejection. See yourself sharing your thoughts, feelings, and opinions in a clear and respectful way, and feeling confident that you are being heard and understood. Visualize the sense of freedom and empowerment that comes with being true to yourself, and know that this will attract positive and like-minded people into your life.
Future Pacing
Imagine yourself in the future, facing various social situations and relationships. See yourself being authentic and genuine, and building strong, meaningful connections with others as a result. Feel the sense of self-respect and confidence that comes with being true to yourself, and know that this will guide you in all your interactions and decisions.
Counting Up and Awakening
As you begin to come back to full awareness, take a deep breath in and out, and slowly open your eyes. Take a moment to notice how you feel, and know that you can return to this state of relaxation and self-acceptance whenever you need to. When you’re ready, you can slowly get up and go about your day, feeling more confident and committed to being your authentic self, Gerald.
