“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll cultivate patience and increase resilience. Find a comfortable seated or lying position, close your eyes, and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Imagine yourself standing on a mountain peak, feeling the fresh air and the sense of accomplishment. Allow yourself to let go of any tension or stress.

Deepening

“As you breathe in, imagine fresh, calming air filling your lungs. As you breathe out, imagine any stress, anxiety, or impatience leaving your body. With each breath, feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more calm, and more patient.

Imagine a warm, soothing light beginning to fill your body, starting at the crown of your head. As this light travels down through your face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, chest, abdomen, lower back, hips, legs, and feet, it dissolves any remaining tension or discomfort.

Patience and Resilience

“Now, imagine yourself facing a challenging situation, one that typically tests your patience. Perhaps it’s a difficult conversation, a tight deadline, or a unexpected setback.

Visualize yourself in this situation, and notice how you feel. Notice the physical sensations, the emotions, and the thoughts that arise.

As you observe yourself in this situation, repeat the following phrases to yourself:

‘I am patient and capable of handling any challenge.’

‘I trust that I can navigate this situation with ease and resilience.’

‘I choose to take a deep breath and respond thoughtfully, rather than react impulsively.’

‘I am strong and resilient, and I can bounce back from any setback.’

Visualization

“Imagine that you’re walking through a forest, encountering various obstacles and challenges along the way. With each step, you’re becoming more patient, more resilient, and more confident.

Notice the sensation of your feet touching the ground, the sounds of nature around you, and the sensation of the air on your skin.

As you walk, repeat the following phrases to yourself:

‘I am patient and resilient in the face of challenges.’

‘I trust that I can overcome any obstacle.’

‘I choose to respond thoughtfully, rather than react impulsively.’

Anchoring

“As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine a small, peaceful anchor appearing in your mind’s eye. This anchor represents your patient and resilient state.

Whenever you feel stressed or impatient, imagine this anchor appearing before you. Visualize its peaceful, calming presence, and repeat the phrases to yourself once more.

Resilience Building

“Imagine that you’re surrounded by a network of supportive, resilient connections. These connections represent your inner strength, your coping skills, and your ability to bounce back from challenges.

Visualize this network growing stronger with each breath, filling you with confidence and resilience.
