Acceptance doesn’t mean you’re condoning or liking your present reality. It means you’re acknowledging it, and in doing so, you’re freeing yourself from the struggle and resistance that comes with denying or fighting it.

Here is a hypnotherapy script for accepting your present reality:

**Induction**

“Welcome to this guided hypnosis session, where you’ll learn to accept and embrace your present reality. Please find a quiet and comfortable place to sit or lie down, close your eyes, and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase, with each step leading you deeper into relaxation. With each breath, feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more calm, and more focused.

Starting from the crown of your head, feel a warm, soothing light spreading down through your body, filling your face, neck, shoulders, arms, chest, abdomen, lower back, hips, legs, and toes. As this light touches each part of your body, it releases any tension, anxiety, or stress, melting it away like ice in the sun.

You are now relaxed, calm, and open to the suggestions that will follow.”

**Deepening**

“Imagine yourself standing in a peaceful, serene environment, surrounded by nature. Notice the sights, sounds, and sensations around you. Feel the sun’s warmth on your skin, the gentle breeze on your face, and the soft grass beneath your feet.

As you breathe in, repeat the phrase ‘I am calm and relaxed’ to yourself. As you exhale, repeat ‘I let go of all tension and stress.’ Continue to breathe deeply, feeling yourself becoming more relaxed with each breath.

Now, visualize a calm, peaceful lake in front of you. Imagine yourself walking towards the lake, feeling the water’s edge with your toes. As you gaze out onto the lake, notice how still and reflective the water is. This represents your mind, calm and peaceful, open to new suggestions and insights.”

**Accepting Your Present Reality**

“Now, bring to mind the present moment, exactly as it is. Notice any thoughts, feelings, or sensations that arise. Allow them to be, without judgment or resistance.

Repeat the phrase ‘I accept my present reality exactly as it is’ to yourself. As you say these words, imagine a warm, comforting light filling your entire body, embracing your present reality with love and acceptance.

Notice how your body responds to these words. Feel any areas of tension or resistance begin to release and relax. Allow yourself to sink deeper into acceptance, embracing your life, exactly as it is, in this moment.

Remember, acceptance doesn’t mean you’re condoning or liking your present reality. It means you’re acknowledging it, and in doing so, you’re freeing yourself from the struggle and resistance that comes with denying or fighting it.

Repeat the phrase again, with conviction and sincerity: ‘I accept my present reality exactly as it is.'”

**Integration and Closure**

“As you continue to breathe deeply, allow this sense of acceptance to integrate into your entire being. Imagine it spreading through your body, filling your cells, and becoming a part of your core.

Know that you can return to this peaceful, accepting state whenever you need it. Trust that you have the power to choose how you respond to your present reality, and that acceptance is always available to you.

When you’re ready, slowly open your eyes, and take a deep breath in, feeling refreshed, renewed, and more at peace with your present reality.”
