Start Letting Grace have the last word with Hypnotherapy

We only really lose the little arguments our pride insists on winning. When it’s more important to win little arguments than love people, we need to start all over again with our faith, grace, and priorities.

Here is a hypnotherapy script to help you start letting grace have the last word:

Induction

Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow your body to relax, letting go of any tension or stress. Imagine yourself sinking deeper into relaxation with each breath.

Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase, with each step leading you deeper into relaxation. With each breath, take a step down, feeling your body becoming heavier, sleepier, and more relaxed.

As you reach the bottom of the staircase, imagine yourself in a peaceful, calm place, surrounded by warmth and comfort. This is your safe space, where you can cultivate a sense of surrender and let go of control.

Deepening

Allow yourself to settle even deeper into relaxation, feeling your body becoming heavier, your mind quieter, and your spirit more open.

Imagine a warm, soothing light filling your entire body, dissolving any remaining tension or stress. As this light circulates through your body, it awakens your sense of trust and surrender.

Letting Go of Control

Now, bring to mind a situation where you have been trying to control the outcome or make things happen on your own terms. It could be a difficult conversation, a challenging task, or a situation that has left you feeling stuck.

As you hold this situation in your mind, imagine a small, delicate flower in front of you. This flower represents your need for control and your desire to make things happen on your own terms.

Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine gently letting go of the flower. See it wilting and slowly disappearing, releasing your need for control and allowing grace to take over.

Repeat the following affirmation to yourself, allowing the words to sink deeply into your subconscious mind:

“I surrender my need for control. I let go and let grace have the last word.”

Visualization

Imagine yourself in the same situation, but this time, see yourself letting go of control and surrendering to the present moment. See yourself trusting in the natural flow of life and allowing things to unfold as they will.

As you visualize yourself letting go of control, feel a sense of peace and trust growing within you. Know that you are no longer trying to control the outcome, but rather, you are allowing grace to guide you.

Reframing

Now, imagine reframing your thoughts about control and surrender. Instead of trying to make things happen on your own terms, see surrender as a way of trusting in the natural flow of life.

Repeat the following affirmation to yourself, allowing the words to become a part of your inner dialogue:

“I trust that everything will work out for my highest good. I let go and let grace have the last word.”

Closing

Take a moment to integrate the insights and feelings from this journey. Know that you have the power to let go of control and surrender to the present moment.

As you slowly open your eyes, remember to carry this sense of surrender and trust with you, and to return to it whenever you need to let go of control.

Repeat the following affirmation to yourself, as you go about your day:

“I surrender my need for control. I let go and let grace have the last word.”

Remember to use this script in a relaxing and comfortable environment, and to adjust the language and imagery to suit the individual’s needs and preferences.
