If you are wondering why your life doesn’t look the way you once envisioned, the answer may be found in your emotional home. Your emotions take residence in your body, your environment, and ultimately your life.

You can choose to lead a life fueled by shame, guilt, and pride or one that is driven by willingness, acceptance, and love. All emotions carry varying degrees of power. It is the power of courage, or the determination and curiosity to discover the truth, that will magically open your path to endless possibilities and carry you straight from where you are today to where you want to go.

Here’s a hypnotherapy script to help you allow courage to be in the space between where you are now and where you need to be:

Induction

(Soft, calming music plays in the background)

“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll connect with courage and allow it to guide you from where you are now to where you need to be. Find a comfortable seated or lying position, close your eyes, and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Imagine yourself standing in a peaceful, natural setting, surrounded by trees, flowers, and the soothing sounds of nature. Feel the gentle breeze on your skin, and the warmth of the sun on your face. With each breath, allow your body to relax and your mind to quiet.”

Deepening

“As you breathe in, imagine fresh, courageous energy entering your body. As you breathe out, imagine any doubts, fears, or limitations leaving your body. Repeat this process, allowing yourself to relax further with each breath.

Imagine a warm, golden light beginning to fill your body, starting at the crown of your head. As this light travels down through your face, neck, and shoulders, it dissolves any remaining tension or resistance. This light continues to flow down through your arms, chest, abdomen, lower back, hips, legs, and finally, your toes.

You are now in a deep state of relaxation, where your subconscious mind is open and receptive to positive suggestions.”

Connecting with Courage

“Imagine a brilliant, radiant light at your heart center, representing courage. This light begins to grow brighter and more vibrant, filling your entire being with its empowering energy.

As you inhale, imagine this light expanding, filling the space between where you are now and where you need to be. As you exhale, imagine any doubts, fears, or limitations leaving your body, making space for courage to guide you.

You are strong, capable, and courageous. You trust that you have the inner resources to navigate any challenges and achieve your goals.”

Visualization

“Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a bridge, representing the space between where you are now and where you need to be. See the bridge stretching out before you, symbolizing the journey ahead.

Notice that the bridge is supported by pillars of courage, strength, and resilience. You feel a sense of confidence and determination, knowing that you can cross this bridge and achieve your goals.

As you begin to cross the bridge, imagine courage guiding you, supporting you, and empowering you. You are not alone; you have the inner resources to overcome any obstacles and reach your destination.”

Affirmations

“Allow the following affirmations to sink deeply into your subconscious mind:

‘I am strong, capable, and courageous.

I trust that I have the inner resources to navigate any challenges.

Courage guides me, supports me, and empowers me.

I am confident and determined to achieve my goals.

I allow courage to be in the space between where I am now and where I need to be.'”

Expansion of Courage

“Imagine your courage expanding, filling your entire being and beyond. You are a beacon of courage, shining brightly for yourself and others.

In this state, you know that courage is not the absence of fear, but the willingness to act in the face of fear. You are willing to take risks, step outside your comfort zone, and achieve your goals.”

Integration

“As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine integrating the insights and awareness from this experience into your daily life. See yourself feeling more confident, determined, and courageous.

Remember, courage is always available to you, guiding you and supporting you on your journey.”

Counting Up

“When you’re ready, slowly begin to bring your attention back to your physical body. Take a few deep breaths, and as you exhale, imagine any remaining relaxation or calmness leaving your body.

Count slowly to yourself, from1 to5, and with each number, feel yourself becoming more alert and awake. When you reach5, take a deep breath in, and when you’re ready, slowly open your eyes.”

Take a deep breath in, and when you’re ready, slowly open your eyes.
