A new version of yourself is already within you, waiting to emerge. You have the power to choose, to act, and to create the life you desire.
Here’s a hypnotherapy script for “Doing The Change” that you can use:
Induction
(Speak in a calm, soothing voice)
“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll embark on a journey of transformation. Allow yourself to settle in, getting comfortable and relaxed. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, feel any tension or stress leave your body.
Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase, with each step leading you deeper into relaxation. As you begin to descend, feel your muscles release, your mind calm, and your breath slow. With each step, you become more relaxed, more focused, and more receptive to positive change.
You’re now at the bottom of the stairs, in a peaceful, serene environment. Notice the sensation of your feet connecting with the ground, feeling grounded and stable. Allow yourself to let go of any thoughts, worries, or concerns, and simply be present in this moment.”
Deepening
“Imagine a warm, soothing light beginning to fill your body, starting at the crown of your head and flowing down to your toes. As this light travels, it dissolves any remaining tension, calming your mind and relaxing your muscles.
With each breath, you become more relaxed, more focused, and more open to the suggestions that follow. You’re in a state of deep relaxation, where your subconscious mind is receptive to positive change.
Now, imagine a dial in front of you, with a needle that can move from 0 to 10. The dial represents your level of motivation and commitment to making a change in your life. As you inhale, imagine the needle moving up the dial, increasing your motivation and commitment to 10.
You feel a surge of energy, a sense of determination and purpose. You’re ready to make a change, and you’re committed to taking action.”
Doing The Change
“Imagine yourself in a situation where you’d like to see a change. It could be a specific behavior, a thought pattern, or an emotional response. Visualize yourself in this situation, and notice how you’re feeling, thinking, and behaving.
Now, imagine a new, empowered version of yourself, one that has already made the desired change. See yourself acting, thinking, and feeling in a way that aligns with your goals and values.
As you observe this new version of yourself, notice the sensations, emotions, and thoughts that arise. Allow yourself to fully embody this new perspective, feeling confident, capable, and in control.
Imagine yourself taking the first step towards making this change a reality. It could be a small action, a decision, or a commitment. Feel the sense of accomplishment, the pride, and the excitement that comes with taking this first step.
As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine yourself taking more steps, making progress, and moving closer to your goal. With each step, you build momentum, confidence, and self-trust.”
Integration and Empowerment
“Remember, this new version of yourself is already within you, waiting to emerge. You have the power to choose, to act, and to create the life you desire.
As you come out of this hypnotic state, take with you the sense of motivation, commitment, and empowerment. Know that you can access this feeling whenever you need it, simply by taking a few deep breaths and reconnecting with your inner strength.
You are capable of making positive changes in your life. You are strong, resilient, and resourceful. Trust in yourself, and trust in the process of transformation.”
Awakening
“Slowly, gently, begin to bring your attention back to the present moment. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, feel yourself becoming more alert, more aware, and more grounded.
Notice the sensation of your feet connecting with the ground, the sensation of the air on your skin, and the sounds around you. You’re back in the present moment, feeling refreshed, renewed, and empowered.
Remember, the power to create positive change is within you. Take this sense of motivation and commitment with you, and make it a part of your daily life. You got this.”
