A big part of your life is a result of the little choices you make every day. If you don’t like some part of your life, it’s time to start tweaking things and making better choices in the days and weeks ahead.
Here is a hypnotherapy script to help you start choosing differently for your own well-being:
Induction
Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow your body to relax, letting go of any tension or stress. Imagine yourself sinking deeper into relaxation with each breath.
Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase, with each step leading you deeper into relaxation. With each breath, take a step down, feeling your body becoming heavier, sleepier, and more relaxed.
As you reach the bottom of the staircase, imagine yourself in a peaceful, calm place, surrounded by warmth and comfort. This is your safe space, where you can start choosing differently for your own well-being.
Deepening
Allow yourself to settle even deeper into relaxation, feeling your body becoming heavier, your mind quieter, and your spirit more open.
Imagine a warm, soothing light filling your entire body, dissolving any remaining tension or stress. As this light circulates through your body, it awakens your sense of self-awareness and self-care.
Choosing Differently
Now, bring to mind a situation where you have a choice to make. It could be a small decision, like what to eat for breakfast, or a bigger decision, like whether to take on a new project at work.
As you hold this situation in your mind, imagine a small, delicate scale in front of you. This scale represents your own well-being and happiness.
Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine gently placing your options on the scale. See which option resonates with your values and priorities, and which one will bring you more joy and fulfillment.
Repeat the following affirmation to yourself, allowing the words to sink deeply into your subconscious mind:
“I choose differently for my own well-being. I prioritize my own happiness and fulfillment.”
Visualization
Imagine yourself making choices that align with your values and priorities. See yourself saying “no” to things that drain your energy and saying “yes” to things that nourish your mind, body, and spirit.
As you visualize yourself choosing differently, feel a sense of empowerment and confidence growing within you. Know that you are taking care of yourself and making choices that support your overall well-being.
Reframing
Now, imagine reframing your thoughts about making choices. Instead of feeling guilty or selfish about putting yourself first, see it as an act of self-love and self-care.
Repeat the following affirmation to yourself, allowing the words to become a part of your inner dialogue:
“I am worthy of taking care of myself. I choose differently for my own well-being.”
Closing
