Stop Withholding Affection or Praise with Hypnotherapy

From this day forward, I want you to commit to expressing affection and praise freely, without hesitation or fear. Trust that open communication and emotional intimacy will bring you closer to the people you care about.

Here is a hypnotherapy script to help someone stop withholding affection or praise:

Title: “Releasing the Need to Withhold Affection and Praise”

Induction:

(Gentle, soothing music starts playing. The hypnotherapist’s voice is calm and reassuring.)

Hypnotherapist: “Welcome to this hypnotherapy session. Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe out, allow yourself to relax. Feel your body becoming heavier, more relaxed, and calm. Imagine yourself in a peaceful, safe space where you can let go of all worries and concerns.”

(Pause for 10-15 seconds)

Hypnotherapist: “As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine a warm, comforting light filling your body, starting from the crown of your head, flowing down through your neck, shoulders, chest, abdomen, lower back, and down to your toes. This light represents relaxation, calmness, and tranquility.”

Deepening:

Hypnotherapist: “Now, I’d like you to imagine yourself standing at the top of a gentle, rolling hill. With each step down, you feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more at peace. Take a step down, and as you do, repeat after me: ‘I am relaxing, I am calm, I am at peace.'”

(Pause for 5-10 seconds)

Hypnotherapist: “Take another step down, and again, repeat after me: ‘I am relaxing, I am calm, I am at peace.'”

(Repeat this process 3-4 times, pausing for 5-10 seconds between each step.)

Suggestions:

Hypnotherapist: “Now, imagine yourself in a situation where you would normally withhold affection or praise from someone. It could be a specific person, a family member, a friend, or a romantic partner. See them in front of you, and notice how you feel.”

(Pause for 10-15 seconds)

Hypnotherapist: “As you observe this person, I want you to acknowledge that withholding affection or praise is not a helpful or loving way to treat them. It’s okay to express your feelings, to show appreciation, to give compliments. In fact, it’s essential for building strong, healthy relationships.”

(Pause for 10-15 seconds)

Hypnotherapist: “I want you to remember a time when someone showed you affection, praise, or appreciation. How did it make you feel? Notice the warmth, the happiness, the sense of connection.”

(Pause for 10-15 seconds)

Hypnotherapist: “Now, imagine sharing that same feeling with the person in front of you. Imagine yourself giving them a genuine compliment, a hug, or a kind word. Feel the joy, the warmth, the connection growing between you.”

(Pause for 10-15 seconds)

Hypnotherapist: “From this day forward, I want you to commit to expressing affection and praise freely, without hesitation or fear. Trust that open communication and emotional intimacy will bring you closer to the people you care about.”

Reinforcement:

Hypnotherapist: “Repeat after me: ‘I choose to express affection and praise freely, without fear or hesitation.'”

(Pause for 5-10 seconds)

Hypnotherapist: “I am worthy of giving and receiving love, care, and appreciation. I trust myself and others to build strong, healthy relationships.”

Counting and Awakening:

Hypnotherapist: “Now, I’ll count from 1 to 5, and when I reach 5, you’ll slowly open your eyes, feeling refreshed, relaxed, and calm. You’ll remember the suggestions we’ve worked on today, and you’ll integrate them into your daily life.”

(Pause for 5-10 seconds between each count)

Hypnotherapist: “1… 2… 3… 4… 5. Open your eyes, and take a deep breath in. You’re back in the present moment, feeling refreshed and renewed.”

Final Suggestions:

Hypnotherapist: “Remember, the power to choose how you express yourself is within you. Practice expressing affection and praise freely, and watch your relationships flourish.”

(Gentle, soothing music continues to play for another 10-15 seconds before fading out.)

Embrace Your Worthiness of Love with Hypnotherapy

Imagine yourself in a loving relationship, feeling happy, fulfilled, and content. See yourself receiving love, affection, and validation from others, and notice how it makes you feel.

Here is a sample hypnotherapy script to help clients embrace their worthiness of love:

Induction

“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll have the opportunity to embrace your worthiness of love. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow any tension or anxiety to release from your body. Feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more calm, and more centered with each breath.

Imagine yourself standing in a peaceful, serene environment, surrounded by vibrant flowers, soothing music, and warm, comforting light. Allow yourself to settle into this tranquil space, letting go of any thoughts, worries, or concerns.

Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, repeat the phrase: ‘I am safe, I am relaxed, and I am ready to embrace my worthiness of love.’ Allow these words to resonate deep within your heart, and feel the sense of peace and tranquility spreading throughout your body.”

Deepening

“Allow yourself to settle deeper into this relaxed state, like sinking into a warm, comforting bath. Feel your body becoming heavier, more relaxed, and more peaceful with each breath.

Imagine a gentle, soothing breeze caressing your skin, whispering words of comfort, reassurance, and self-love. As you inhale, imagine this breeze filling your lungs with calm, peaceful energy. As you exhale, imagine any remaining tension or stress releasing from your body.

You’re now in a deep state of relaxation, where your subconscious mind is open to positive suggestions and guidance. Allow yourself to let go of any negative self-talk, self-doubt, or fear of not being worthy of love, and instead, focus on embracing your worthiness of love.”

Embracing Worthiness of Love

“Imagine yourself surrounded by loving energy, feeling seen, heard, and validated. See yourself as a deserving, worthy, and lovable person, deserving of all the love and affection you desire.

Repeat after me: ‘I am worthy of love, I am deserving of love, and I am enough.’ Allow these words to sink deep into your subconscious mind, and feel the sense of self-love, self-acceptance, and self-worth spreading throughout your body.

Imagine yourself in a loving relationship, feeling happy, fulfilled, and content. See yourself receiving love, affection, and validation from others, and notice how it makes you feel.

Repeat after me: ‘I am open to receiving love, I am open to giving love, and I am open to experiencing love in all its forms.’ Allow these words to become your inner mantra, guiding you towards greater self-love, self-acceptance, and a deeper connection with others.”

Reinforcement and Anchoring

“Take a moment to reflect on how you feel right now. Notice the sense of self-love, the feeling of self-worth, and the sense of deservingness of love that now resides within you.

As you continue to breathe deeply, anchor this feeling of worthiness of love. Imagine a small, golden anchor in your heart, reminding you of your deservingness of love and affection.

Whenever you need to access this feeling of worthiness, simply take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, repeat the phrase: ‘I am worthy of love, I am deserving of love, and I am enough.’ Feel this anchor strengthening, and know that you can return to this state of self-love and self-acceptance whenever you need it.”

Closing

“Take one final, deep breath in, and as you exhale, slowly open your eyes. Notice how you feel, notice the subtle shift in your energy, and notice the sense of self-love and worthiness that now resides within you.

Remember, you are worthy of love, you are deserving of love, and you are enough. You can always return to this state of self-love and self-acceptance, and live your life with greater confidence, happiness, and fulfillment.

Take one final, deep breath in, and as you exhale, know that you are free to live your life with love, self-love, and self-acceptance.”
