To effectively solicit feedback, ask open-ended questions, create a safe environment, and actively listen. Encourage feedback by being clear about your intentions and demonstrating a willingness to learn and improve.

Follow up on feedback to show appreciation and that it’s being used.

Here’s a sample hypnotherapy script that asks more questions and encourages feedback:

Induction

“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session. Allow yourself to settle in and get comfortable. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, feel any tension or stress leave your body. As you breathe in again, imagine fresh, calm energy filling your body.

Now, imagine yourself in a peaceful, safe place. It could be a beach, a forest, or a mountain meadow.

Where are you?

What do you see, hear, and feel in this special place?”

Deepening

“As you relax further, I’d like to ask:

What is it that you’d like to work on or achieve during this session?

Is there a specific issue, emotion, or behavior you’d like to address?

Take a moment to reflect on this… and when you’re ready, share your thoughts with me.

Notice how your body is feeling right now. Are there any areas of tension or relaxation?

Where do you feel most calm and comfortable?

Allow that sensation to spread throughout your body, filling you with a sense of ease and tranquility.”

Exploring the Issue

“Let’s explore the issue you’d like to work on.

Can you tell me more about it?

What’s been bothering you, and how has it been affecting your life?

Be as specific as possible… and remember, you’re in a safe and non-judgmental space.

As you think about this issue, notice any emotions that arise.

What are you feeling right now?

Is it anxiety, sadness, or perhaps frustration?

Allow yourself to fully experience these emotions, and then, when you’re ready, let’s work on releasing them.”

Reframing and Refocusing

“Now, I’d like to ask:

What would you like to achieve or experience instead of the issue you’re facing?

What’s your desired outcome?

Imagine yourself already in that place… how does it feel?

What do you see, hear, and sense in this new reality?

As you focus on this positive outcome, notice any shifts in your body or emotions.

Are you feeling more relaxed, confident, or empowered?

Allow that sense of confidence and positivity to grow, filling you with a sense of hope and possibility.”

Anchoring and Integration

“Take a moment to anchor this positive feeling, this sense of confidence and empowerment. Imagine a symbol, a color, or a word that represents this new state of being.

What is it?

Allow that symbol to become a part of you, a reminder of your strength and resilience.

As you slowly come back to full awareness, remember that you can return to this peaceful, empowered state whenever you need it. Take one final, deep breath in, and when you’re ready, slowly open your eyes.

How are you feeling now?

What insights or shifts have you experienced during this session?”

This script encourages feedback and asks questions throughout the session to:

1. Identify the client’s goals and concerns

2. Explore the issue in more depth

3. Reframe negative thoughts and emotions

4. Focus on positive outcomes and desired states

5. Anchor and integrate the new feelings and insights

By asking more questions and encouraging feedback, the hypnotherapist can create a more personalized and effective session, tailored to the client’s specific needs and goals.
