Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase, with each step leading you deeper into relaxation. With each breath, take a step down, feeling your body relax, letting go of any thoughts or worries. Take another deep breath in… and out… and take another step down.

“Allow yourself to sink deeper into this peaceful state, feeling your body heavy and relaxed. Imagine a warm, soothing light filling your entire body, starting at the crown of your head, flowing down through your neck, shoulders, arms, chest, abdomen, lower back, hips, legs, and toes.

As this light fills each part of your body, imagine any tension, pain, or discomfort melting away, like ice dissolving in the sun. Allow yourself to let go of any physical or emotional discomfort, knowing that you are safe and supported in this process.

Take a few moments to simply focus on your breath, feeling your body relax even further with each exhalation. You are now in a state of deep relaxation, where your subconscious mind is open to positive suggestions and healing.”

Healing Emotional Trauma:

“Now, bring to mind the traumatic event or experience that you would like to heal from. Allow yourself to observe it from a safe distance, without reliving the emotions or sensations associated with it. Imagine this event or experience as a cloud, a mist, or a shadow that has been with you for some time.

As you observe this cloud, mist, or shadow, allow yourself to acknowledge the emotions that come with it. Allow yourself to feel the feelings, without judgment, knowing that they are valid and that you are safe now.

Imagine a warm, loving light beginning to surround this cloud, mist, or shadow. This light represents your own inner strength, resilience, and capacity for healing. As this light envelops the traumatic memory, imagine it beginning to dissolve, transforming into a smaller, less intense form.

With each breath, imagine this light growing stronger, filling you with a sense of safety, peace, and empowerment. Allow yourself to repeat the following phrase to yourself: ‘I am safe, I am strong, I am healed.’

As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine this light spreading throughout your entire body, healing any emotional wounds, and releasing any remaining tension or pain associated with the traumatic experience.

Allow yourself to feel a sense of liberation, knowing that you are free from the emotional burdens of this experience. You are now in control, and you are capable of creating a brighter, more fulfilling future for yourself.”
