Stop chasing the Fixation on External Validation with Hypnotherapy

Imagine yourself embracing a new perspective on self-worth. Imagine yourself feeling confident, feeling worthy, and feeling lovable, regardless of what others think or say.

Here is a hypnotherapy script to help stop chasing the fixation on external validation:

Induction

“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll discover the power of your mind and unlock a new perspective on self-worth. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow your body to relax, starting from the crown of your head, down to your toes. With each breath, feel your muscles relaxing, your mind quieting, and your heart rate slowing down.

Imagine yourself in a peaceful, safe space, where you feel completely at ease. It could be a beach at sunset, a forest glade, or a cozy room in your home. Take a moment to visualize this space, and as you do, allow yourself to let go of any tension, any worries, or any doubts.

Now, take another deep breath in, and as you exhale, repeat after me: ‘I am relaxed, I am calm, and I am ready to let go.'”

Deepening

“As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine yourself descending a staircase, with each step, feeling yourself becoming more relaxed, more calm, and more centered. With each step, repeat the phrase: ‘I am letting go, I am releasing, I am surrendering.’

Now, imagine yourself at the bottom of the staircase, surrounded by a warm, soothing light. This light represents your subconscious mind, and it’s here to guide you, support you, and empower you.

Take a moment to acknowledge this light, and as you do, repeat after me: ‘I trust my subconscious mind, I trust my inner wisdom, and I trust the process.'”

Reframing External Validation

“Now, bring to mind the concept of external validation. What does it mean to you? What does it look like, feel like, and sound like? Take a moment to reflect on your answer.

Notice how your mind might be telling you that you need the approval of others to feel worthy, to feel valued, or to feel loved. But what if I told you that your worth, your value, and your lovability come from within? What if I told you that you are already enough, just as you are?

Imagine yourself releasing the need for external validation. Imagine yourself letting go of the constant seeking of approval, the constant need for likes, comments, and shares. Repeat after me: ‘I release the need for external validation, I release the fear of not being enough, and I release the belief that others define my worth.’

Now, imagine yourself embracing a new perspective on self-worth. Imagine yourself feeling confident, feeling worthy, and feeling lovable, regardless of what others think or say. Repeat after me: ‘I am enough, I am worthy, and I am loved, just as I am.'”

Anchoring and Reinforcement

“Take a moment to anchor this new perspective on self-worth into your subconscious mind. Imagine yourself doing something that brings you joy, something that makes you feel alive, and something that fills you with a sense of purpose.

As you visualize yourself in this scenario, repeat after me: ‘I am enough, I am worthy, and I am loved.’ Allow these words to sink deep into your subconscious mind, and know that they will guide you, support you, and empower you on your journey.

Remember, your worth, your value, and your lovability come from within. You are already enough, just as you are. You don’t need the approval of others to feel worthy. You don’t need external validation to feel loved.”

Counting and Awakening

“Now, take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, slowly count from 5 to 1, knowing that you’ll return to a state of full awareness, feeling refreshed, renewed, and empowered.

5… You’re becoming more aware of your surroundings, feeling more grounded and centered.

4… You’re noticing your body, feeling more relaxed, more calm, and more at peace.

3… You’re remembering the insights, the wisdom, and the new perspective on self-worth that you’ve gained during this session.

2… You’re feeling more confident, more motivated, and more inspired to live a life that truly reflects your values, your passions, and your purpose.

1… You’re fully awake, feeling refreshed, renewed, and empowered to take on the day, knowing that your worth, your value, and your lovability come from within.”

Remember, the power of hypnotherapy lies in repetition and practice. Listen to this script regularly, and watch how your perspective on self-worth shifts, and how you begin to live a life that truly reflects your values, your passions, and your purpose.
