Here is a sample sports hypnotherapy script to remove the fear of failure from your game:

Title: “Fearless Performance”

Induction:

(Speak in a calm, soothing tone)

“Welcome, take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow your body to relax, letting go of any tension or stress. Imagine yourself standing in a peaceful environment, feeling calm and centered. Take another deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow your eyelids to grow heavy, feeling your eyes becoming heavier and heavier. Your eyelids are now closed, and you’re ready to embark on this journey of fearless performance.”

Deepening:

“Imagine yourself descending a staircase, with each step, you’re becoming more and more relaxed. Your body is sinking deeper into relaxation, like a warm bath enveloping you. You’re now at the bottom of the staircase, and as you take a deep breath in, you feel your body becoming heavier, sinking deeper into relaxation. Your mind is quiet, focused, and calm.”

Fear of Failure:

“Imagine a bright, warm light filling your body, starting from the crown of your head, flowing down to your toes. As this light travels through your body, it’s dissolving any fear of failure, anxiety, or self-doubt. Feel this light liberating you from the pressure of perfection, releasing you from the burden of expectations. You’re now free to perform at your best, without the weight of fear holding you back.”

Positive Affirmations:

“Repeat after me: ‘I trust myself to perform at my best.’ ‘I am capable of overcoming any obstacle.’ ‘I am fearless and confident in my abilities.'”

Visualization:

“Visualize yourself performing in your sport or game, with complete confidence and freedom. See yourself taking risks, trying new moves, and pushing yourself to new heights. Imagine yourself feeling empowered, liberated, and free to perform at your best. Feel the sense of joy, excitement, and fulfillment.”

Breathing Exercise:

“Take a deep breath in, hold it for a second, and exhale slowly. As you exhale, feel any remaining fear or anxiety leaving your body. Repeat this process a few times, feeling your confidence growing stronger, more resilient, and more fearless with each breath.”

Counting and Awakening:

“Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, slowly count from 5 to 1. As you reach 1, you’ll feel refreshed, renewed, and ready to take on your sport or game with fearless confidence. When you open your eyes, you’ll feel alert, focused, and ready to perform at your best.”

Final words:

“Remember, you have the power to remove the fear of failure from your game. Trust in yourself, trust in your abilities, and you’ll unlock your full potential.”

Let go of the Fear of Failure with Hypnotherapy

With the power of your mind as you continue to breathe, imagine the cloud of fear dissipating, fragmenting, and disappearing, like mist in the morning sun. With each breath, feel yourself becoming lighter, freer, and more confident.

Here is a hypnotherapy script to help let go of the fear of failure:

Induction

“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll embark on a journey to overcome the fear of failure. Get comfortable, take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow any tension or stress to leave your body.

Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a peaceful lake on a warm summer day. With each breath, feel the sun’s gentle warmth seeping into your skin, calming your mind and relaxing your body. As you gaze out at the lake, notice how the water’s surface reflects the calmness and serenity of the surroundings.

Now, take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow your eyelids to grow heavy, feeling them slowly closing, like the gentle lapping of the lake’s waves against the shore. Allow yourself to relax, deeper and deeper, with each breath…

Deepening

“Imagine yourself stepping into a warm, soothing bath, where the water’s temperature is perfect, not too hot, not too cold. As you sink deeper into the bath, feel the weight of your body being supported, letting go of all tension, all worries, and all fears.

With each breath, feel yourself relaxing, sinking deeper, becoming heavier, like a stone sinking gently to the bottom of the lake. As you descend, notice how the water’s surface above you becomes more distant, like the worries and fears that once troubled you.

Letting Go of Fear of Failure

“Now, bring to mind the fear of failure that has been holding you back. Imagine it as a dark, heavy cloud hovering above you. As you focus on this cloud, notice how it’s affecting your breath, your body, and your mind.

Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine a bright, warm light starting to dissolve the cloud. With each breath, the light grows stronger, spreading throughout your body, filling you with confidence and self-trust.

Repeat after me: ‘I am capable and strong. I trust myself to make good decisions. I am worthy of success, no matter the outcome.’

“As you continue to breathe, imagine the cloud of fear dissipating, fragmenting, and disappearing, like mist in the morning sun. With each breath, feel yourself becoming lighter, freer, and more confident.

Reframing Failure

“Now, imagine a new scenario, where failure is not something to be feared, but an opportunity to learn and grow. Visualize yourself taking risks, pushing beyond your comfort zone, and facing challenges head-on.

Remember, every successful person has experienced failure at some point. They didn’t let it define them; instead, they used it as a stepping stone to success. You, too, can do the same.

Repeat after me: ‘I see failure as a chance to learn, to grow, and to become stronger.’

Integration and Awakening

“As you continue to breathe, feel the confidence and self-trust spreading throughout your body, filling you with a sense of empowerment. Know that you can overcome any obstacle, that you are capable of achieving your goals, and that fear of failure no longer holds you back.

When you’re ready, slowly open your eyes, and take a deep breath in, feeling refreshed, renewed, and empowered to take on any challenge that comes your way.”

Remember to adjust the script according to your personal preferences and the needs of your clients.
