Embracing Your Own Humanness with Hypnotherapy

Practice self-compassion and self-acceptance, and to always treat yourself with kindness and understanding.

Here is a sample hypnotherapy script for embracing your own humanness:

*Induction*

“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll learn to embrace your own humanness and cultivate a deeper sense of self-acceptance and compassion. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow yourself to relax and let go of any tension or stress. Imagine yourself in a peaceful, safe space, where you feel completely comfortable and at ease.

“Allow your eyes to gently close, and take another deep breath in. As you inhale, imagine fresh, calming air filling your lungs. As you exhale, imagine any worries or concerns leaving your body. With each breath, feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more calm, and more centered.

“Imagine a warm, soothing light beginning to fill your body, starting at the crown of your head and flowing down to your toes. As this light travels through your body, it dissolves any remaining tension or stress, leaving you feeling calm, relaxed, and focused.”

*Deepening*

“Now, imagine yourself standing in a peaceful, serene environment, surrounded by nature’s beauty. It could be a beach at sunset, a mountain meadow, or a peaceful forest. Take a moment to absorb the sights, sounds, and sensations of this environment, and allow yourself to feel completely relaxed and at ease.

“Notice the sensation of your feet connecting with the earth beneath you. Feel the weight of your body distributed evenly, and imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet, deep into the earth. With each breath, feel yourself becoming more grounded, more centered, and more connected to your inner self.”

*Embracing Humanness*

“Now, bring to mind the idea of embracing your own humanness. Imagine yourself accepting and loving yourself exactly as you are, with all your strengths and weaknesses, flaws and imperfections.

“Notice the feelings that arise as you imagine embracing your humanness. You may feel a sense of relief, freedom, and acceptance. You may feel a sense of peace, calmness, and contentment.

“Repeat after me: ‘I am enough, just as I am.’ ‘I am worthy of love, care, and compassion, regardless of my flaws and imperfections.’

“Now, imagine a warm, comforting light filling your body, starting at the crown of your head and flowing down to your toes. As this light travels through your body, it nurtures your sense of self-acceptance and self-compassion, and reminds you that you are enough, just as you are.

“Take a moment to notice the sensations in your body. Notice any areas of tension or discomfort, and imagine sending them a message of love and acceptance. Imagine your body relaxing, letting go of any strain or stress, and feeling more relaxed, calm, and at ease.”

*Reinforcement*

“From this day forward, you’ll carry this sense of self-acceptance and self-compassion with you in all aspects of your life. You’ll be kinder and gentler with yourself, and you’ll practice embracing your humanness with love and compassion.

“Imagine yourself in different scenarios, responding to challenges with kindness, understanding, and patience. You’re treating yourself with the same care and compassion that you would offer to a good friend.

“Remember, embracing your humanness is not about being perfect – it’s about being kind, compassionate, and understanding towards yourself. You are doing the best you can, and that is enough.”

*Counting and Awakening*

“Now, take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine yourself slowly coming back to the present moment. You can open your eyes when you’re ready, feeling refreshed, renewed, and empowered to embrace your own humanness.

“Take a moment to notice how you feel before getting up and going about your day. Remember to practice self-compassion and self-acceptance, and to always treat yourself with kindness and understanding.

“From 5 to 1, slowly count yourself back to full awareness, feeling refreshed, renewed, and empowered to embrace your own humanness. 5… 4… 3… 2… 1.”

Title: “Emotional Liberation: Letting Go of Emotions Linked to Depression”

Induction:

“Welcome to this safe and peaceful place. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow any tension or stress to leave your body. Allow your eyes to gently close, and let your mind settle into a state of relaxation.

Imagine yourself standing in a calm, serene lake, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flowers. With each breath, feel your body becoming lighter, more relaxed, and more at peace.

As you breathe in, imagine fresh, calming air filling your lungs. As you exhale, imagine any emotional pain, distress, or discomfort leaving your body, like ripples disappearing on the surface of the lake.

Allow yourself to sink deeper into this peaceful state, where your mind and body can let go of all tension and resistance.”

Deepening:

“Now, imagine yourself floating on the lake, feeling the gentle breeze on your skin and the warm sun on your face. With each breath, feel your body becoming more relaxed, more peaceful, and more calm.

Notice the sensation of your body floating on the lake, the sensation of the air on your skin, and the sound of the water lapping against the shore.

As you continue to breathe deeply, allow yourself to let go of any remaining emotional pain or distress. Imagine it melting away, like ice dissolving in the sun, leaving you feeling lighter, more peaceful, and more free.”

Regression:

“Now, allow yourself to drift back to a time when you felt emotionally free, when you were able to express your emotions in a healthy and constructive way. Remember the feeling of emotional liberation, the sense of lightness, and the joy of living in the present moment.

Allow yourself to relive that experience, to recapture the feeling of emotional freedom, and to reconnect with your natural sense of emotional well-being.

Notice how your body responds to this memory, how your posture improves, and how your energy levels increase.”

Reframing:

“As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine that with each inhale, you are filling yourself with emotional freedom, peace, and liberation. Imagine that with each exhale, you are releasing any negative emotions, patterns, or beliefs that do not serve you.

Repeat after me: ‘I am emotionally free, I am at peace, and I am liberated from the past. I trust myself to express my emotions in a healthy and constructive way, and I choose to live in the present moment.’

Allow these words to sink deep into your subconscious mind, reprogramming your thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours around emotional freedom and well-being.”

Empowerment:

“Now, imagine yourself standing in front of a mirror, looking at your reflection with kindness, compassion, and understanding. Notice how your body has changed, how it has grown stronger, more resilient, and more confident.

Repeat after me: ‘I love and accept myself exactly as I am. I trust myself to make decisions that align with my values and goals. I am worthy of living a life filled with emotional freedom, purpose, and joy.’

Allow these words to resonate deep within your heart, filling you with confidence, self-love, and empowerment.”

Closure:

“Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine yourself slowly opening your eyes, feeling refreshed, renewed, and revitalized. Know that you have taken the first step towards emotional liberation and freedom from depression.

Remember, you are not alone, and you are capable of overcoming this challenge. Trust in yourself, trust in your body, and trust in the power of hypnosis to guide you towards a more emotionally free, peaceful, and fulfilling life.”

Final Suggestion:

“Before you go, take a moment to write down one thing you are looking forward to doing today. It can be as simple as taking a walk or enjoying a cup of coffee. As you write, feel the excitement and anticipation spreading throughout your body, filling you with positivity and motivation.

Know that this hypnosis session has planted a seed of change within you, and with consistent practice and self-care, you will begin to notice significant improvements in your emotional well-being, mood, and overall quality of life.”
