Imagine yourself being the life of the party, without feeling anxious or self-conscious. See yourself laughing, joking, and having fun with others.
Here is a sample hypnotherapy script for helping someone become more outgoing:
Induction
“Close your eyes and take a deep breath in. Hold it for a second, and then exhale slowly. Feel your body relax, starting from the top of your head, all the way down to your toes.
Imagine you’re in a special place, where you feel happy and relaxed. This place makes you feel safe and calm. You can imagine a beautiful beach, a magical forest, or even a cozy room in your own home.
Now, visualize a warm, energizing light filling your entire body. This light makes you feel more confident, more outgoing, and more sociable.”
Deepening
“Take another deep breath in, and as you exhale, repeat the phrase ‘I am calm and relaxed’ to yourself. Allow these words to sink deep into your mind, making you feel even more relaxed and calm.
Imagine you’re sinking deeper and deeper into relaxation, like a soft, fluffy cloud gently floating downwards. You can feel your body becoming heavier and more relaxed with each breath.”
Suggestions
“Now, bring your attention to your personality. Imagine yourself as a more outgoing, more confident, and more sociable person. Repeat the following phrases to yourself, allowing them to become your new reality:
* ‘I am confident in social situations.’
* ‘I am outgoing and friendly.’
* ‘I trust myself to make new connections.’
* ‘I am comfortable in my own skin.’
* ‘I am a magnet for positive relationships.’
As you repeat these phrases, imagine them taking root in your mind, making you feel more confident and outgoing.
You are doing a great job, and I’m so proud of you for taking this step towards becoming more outgoing. Remember, you have the power to choose how you want to show up in social situations. You can choose to be confident, friendly, and outgoing.”
