You are capable of cultivating calm and serenity in your relationships. You are in control, and you choose how you respond to any situation.

Here is a script for a “Relationship Calm” hypnotherapy session:

Introduction

“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll learn to cultivate calm and serenity in your relationships. Get comfortable, take a deep breath in, and allow yourself to relax. You’re safe, and you’re in control. My voice will guide you through this journey, helping you access your subconscious mind and release any tension or anxiety related to your relationships.”

Induction

“Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase, with each step leading you deeper into relaxation. As you breathe in, feel your body becoming heavier, more relaxed. With each exhalation, imagine any tension or stress leaving your body, like autumn leaves rustling to the ground.

“As you begin your descent down the staircase, notice the sensation of your feet connecting with each step. Feel the weight of your body distributed evenly, supported by the earth beneath you.

“With each step, repeat the phrase ‘I am calm and relaxed’ to yourself. Allow the words to sink deep into your mind, becoming a mantra that guides you deeper into tranquility.

“Take your time, breathing deeply, and when you’re ready, take another step down. Allow your body to release any remaining tension, like a soft breeze on a summer day.

“You’re doing great. You’re safe, and you’re in control. Continue down the staircase, deeper into relaxation, until you reach the bottom, where you’ll find a peaceful, calm space waiting for you.”

Deepening

“Now, imagine yourself in this peaceful space, surrounded by calming colors and soothing sounds. Notice the sensation of the air on your skin, the gentle rustle of the wind, and the warmth of the sun on your face.

“Allow yourself to settle in, feeling your body and mind relax even further. Imagine any remaining thoughts or worries floating away like clouds in the sky, leaving you clear-headed and calm.

“Take a moment to focus on your breath, feeling the sensation of the air moving in and out of your body. With each inhalation, imagine fresh, calming energy entering your system. With each exhalation, imagine any stress or anxiety leaving your body, like a soft sigh of relief.

“You’re doing great. You’re calm, and you’re relaxed. Allow yourself to settle in even further, knowing that you’re completely safe and supported.”

Relationship Calm

“Now, bring to mind a relationship that may be causing you stress or anxiety. It could be a romantic partner, a family member, or a friend. Allow yourself to visualize this person, and notice how your body responds.

“As you breathe in, imagine a warm, calming light filling your chest. This light represents love, understanding, and compassion. As you exhale, imagine this light expanding, filling your entire body and surrounding the person in your mind.

“Repeat the phrase ‘I am calm and confident in my relationships’ to yourself, allowing the words to sink deep into your mind. Imagine this phrase becoming a guiding principle in your interactions with others, helping you navigate any challenging situations with ease and grace.

“Notice how your body responds to this phrase. Feel the tension release, the calmness spread, and the confidence grow.

“Imagine yourself in a situation with this person, and instead of reacting with anxiety or stress, you respond with calm, clarity, and compassion. See yourself communicating effectively, listening actively, and responding thoughtfully.

“Remember, you are in control. You choose how you react, and you choose to respond with calm and confidence. Repeat the phrase ‘I am calm and confident in my relationships’ to yourself, and allow it to become your reality.”

Counting and Awakening

“Now, take a moment to notice how you’re feeling. Feel the calmness, the confidence, and the sense of control. When you’re ready, slowly begin to count backwards from 5, and as you do, allow yourself to gradually return to a state of full awareness.

“5… feeling calm, relaxed, and confident

4… noticing my body, feeling heavy and relaxed

3… opening my eyes, slowly and gently

2… taking a deep breath, filling my lungs with fresh air

1… fully awake, feeling refreshed and renewed”

Conclusion

“Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, remember that you are capable of cultivating calm and serenity in your relationships. You are in control, and you choose how you respond to any situation.

“Remember to practice this exercise regularly, reinforcing the calm and confident state you’ve accessed today. And when you face challenging situations in the future, recall the phrase ‘I am calm and confident in my relationships,’ and allow it to guide you toward peaceful resolution.”
