Notice how this box feels heavy, weighing you down, and draining your energy. Allow yourself to acknowledge the pain and hurt that’s been stored inside.

Now, imagine a gentle, loving light beginning to surround the box. As this light touches the box, it begins to dissolve the resentment, anger, and frustration, replacing it with forgiveness, understanding, and compassion.

Allow this light to fill the box, and as it does, repeat the following phrase to yourself: ‘I forgive, I release, I let go.'”

Releasing Resentment

“Imagine the box beginning to dissolve, disappearing into thin air, taking all the resentment, anger, and frustration with it. As it disappears, feel a sense of lightness, freedom, and peace flooding through your body.

Notice how your shoulders relax, your heart rate slows, and your mind clears. You feel a sense of liberation, as if a weight has been lifted from your shoulders.
