Here is a sample hypnotherapy script to help remove the reasons why you may be shy:
*Induction*
“Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow your body to relax, starting from the crown of your head, down to your toes. Imagine any tension, any worries, any stress, just melting away with each breath. You are safe, you are calm, and you are relaxed.
Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase, with 10 steps leading down to a peaceful, relaxing beach. With each step, allow yourself to relax more and more. As you breathe in, count down with me… 10… 9… 8… 7… 6… 5… 4… 3… 2… 1.
You are now at the bottom of the staircase, standing on the peaceful beach. Feel the warm sand beneath your feet, the cool breeze on your skin, and the sound of the waves gently crashing against the shore. You are completely relaxed, and your subconscious mind is open to positive suggestions.”
*Deepening*
“As you continue to breathe deeply, allow yourself to relax even further. Imagine a bright, warm light filling your body, starting from the crown of your head, and flowing down to your toes. This light represents confidence, self-assurance, and a sense of calm.
With each breath, allow this light to grow stronger, spreading throughout your body, filling any areas of doubt or uncertainty. You are becoming more confident, more self-assured, and more calm with each passing moment.”
*Removal of Shyness*
“Now, imagine a small, delicate box in front of you. This box represents all the reasons why you may feel shy or hesitant in social situations. It may be filled with negative self-talk, fear of rejection, or past experiences that have held you back.
As you exhale, imagine any and all reasons why you may feel shy or hesitant being released from your body, and entering the box. Allow yourself to let go of these feelings, knowing that they no longer serve you.
As you inhale, imagine confidence, self-assurance, and a sense of calm entering your body, filling the space where those negative feelings once resided. You are becoming more confident, more outgoing, and more self-assured with each passing moment.
Repeat after me: ‘I release all shyness, I release all hesitation. I am confident, I am self-assured, I am calm and relaxed in all social situations.'”
*Reinforcement*
“Now, imagine yourself in a social situation, surrounded by people. You are confident, you are self-assured, and you are calm. You are easily engaging in conversations, making new connections, and feeling comfortable in your own skin.
As you continue to breathe deeply, allow this feeling of confidence and self-assurance to grow stronger. You are capable, you are competent, and you are deserving of success and happiness.
Repeat after me: ‘I am confident, I am self-assured, I am capable and competent in all social situations.'”
*Counting Up and Awakening*
“Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, begin to count upwards with me… 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… 8… 9… 10. As you reach the count of 10, you will be fully awake, feeling refreshed, renewed, and confident.
Remember, the reasons why you may have felt shy or hesitant are now released, and you are free to be your confident, self-assured self. You will carry this feeling with you, into all social situations, and you will continue to grow in confidence and self-assurance with each passing day.”
