As you exhale, repeat the phrase ‘I am patient and calm’ to yourself. Allow the sound of the waves to be the only sound you focus on. You are safe, you are calm, and you are patient.”

Deepening:

“Now, imagine yourself descending a staircase, one step at a time. With each step, feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more calm, and more focused. At the bottom of the staircase, you’ll find a peaceful, serene room where you can let go of all worries and concerns.

As you enter this room, notice the soothing colours, the soft cushions, and the gentle scent of your mothers apple pie. Feel the sense of calm and tranquility that permeates this space. You are now in a state of deep relaxation, where your subconscious mind is open to receive positive suggestions and allow powerful changes inside you.”

“Imagine yourself standing in the most beautiful, peaceful garden. See all the many vibrant flowers blooming all around you, Smell the slight fragrance of the flowers in the breeze, Feel the soft grass beneath your feet, Hear the gentle breeze rustling the leaves. This garden represents your inner patience, peace, calm and tranquility.

“Imagine yourself holding a very small, delicate leaf in your hand. This leaf represents the gentle, patient energy of waiting and allowing. As you hold the leaf, feel its energy spreading throughout your entire body, filling you with patience, calmness, forbearance, tolerance, restraint, stoicism, fortitude, endurance, calmness, composure, tolerance, and understanding.
