Acknowledging And Embracing Your Inner Child with Hypnotherapy

Imagine that you are giving your inner child a big hug, holding them close and feeling a sense of unity and connection.

Here is a script for a hypnotherapy session focused on acknowledging and embracing your inner child:

Induction

“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session. Allow yourself to get comfortable, either sitting or lying down, and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Feel the air fill your lungs, and then release any tension or stress as you exhale.

Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase, with each step leading you deeper into relaxation. As you breathe in, imagine fresh, calming air filling your body. As you breathe out, imagine any thoughts, worries, or tensions leaving your body. With each breath, feel yourself relaxing, letting go of any anxiety or stress.

Take a moment to notice the sensation of your feet touching the ground. Feel the weight of your body distributed evenly, supported by the earth beneath you. Allow yourself to feel grounded and safe.

Now, bring your attention to your breath. Focus on the sensation of the air moving in and out of your body. Feel the rise and fall of your chest, the expansion and contraction of your lungs. Simply observe your breath, without trying to control it or change it in any way. Allow yourself to relax, to let go, and to simply be.”

Deepening

“As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine yourself sinking deeper into relaxation. Feel your body becoming heavier, more relaxed, and more calm. Imagine any thoughts or worries floating away, like clouds disappearing into the sky.

Now, visualize a warm, comforting light filling your body. Imagine this light spreading from the crown of your head, down through your neck, and into your shoulders, arms, and chest. As it spreads, it brings with it a deep sense of relaxation, calmness, and peace.

Allow this light to fill your entire body, dissolving any areas of tension or discomfort. Imagine it soothing your mind, quieting your thoughts, and bringing you into a state of profound relaxation.

As you continue to breathe deeply, repeat the following phrase to yourself: ‘I am calm, I am relaxed, I am at peace.'”

Meeting Your Inner Child

“Now, imagine that you are a child again, playing in a safe and happy environment. It could be a park, a playground, or a beach. Allow yourself to fully immerse in this scenario, feeling the joy and freedom of being a child.

As you play, notice the feelings and emotions that arise within you. Are you feeling happy and carefree, or are you feeling sad or scared? Allow yourself to fully acknowledge and validate these feelings, knowing that they are a part of your inner child.

Now, imagine that your inner child is standing in front of you. Look into their eyes, and see the innocence and vulnerability that exists there. Reach out and take their hand, feeling a sense of connection and compassion.

Repeat the following phrase to your inner child: ‘I see you, I hear you, I love you just the way you are.'”

Embracing Your Inner Child

“As you continue to hold your inner child’s hand, allow yourself to fully embrace and accept them. Know that your inner child is a part of you, and that they deserve love, care, and compassion.

Imagine that you are giving your inner child a big hug, holding them close and feeling a sense of unity and connection. As you hug, repeat the following phrase: ‘I love you, I accept you, I am you.’

As you continue to breathe deeply, feel a sense of integration and wholeness within yourself. Know that your inner child is safe, loved, and accepted, and that you are now fully embracing and integrating this part of yourself.

Take a moment to notice how you feel, and know that you can return to this sense of unity and connection whenever you need to.”

Counting and Awakening

“Now, take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, slowly count from five to one. As you count, allow yourself to slowly come back to a state of full awareness, feeling refreshed, renewed, and more connected to your inner child.

Five… feeling more awake and alert

Four… noticing your body and your surroundings

Three… feeling more energized and focused

Two… taking a deep breath, feeling refreshed and renewed

One… opening your eyes, feeling fully awake and alert

Take a deep breath in, and when you’re ready, slowly open your eyes. Notice how you feel, and take that sense of connection and unity with you into your day.”

Remember to adjust the script to fit your personal style and the needs of your clients. You can also add or modify sections to focus on specific issues, such as self-acceptance, self-love, or inner healing.

Using The Law of Correspondence with Hypnotherapy

With the power of your mind imagine yourself taking responsibility for your inner world, acknowledging that you are the creator of your reality. You are choosing to align your inner world with your outer world, creating a life of balance, harmony, and unity.

The practical use of the Law of Correspondence is that it allows you to logically understand the nature of those things beyond your understanding by studying the nature of those things that you do understand and then finding the analogy. For instance, by understanding the creative aspect of Universal Mind, you can precisely understand how your mind creates your reality. You can understand the state of your outer physical world by looking at your inner mental world. Similarly, your inner mental world can be revealed to you by looking at your outer physical world.

The New Thought author, James Allen, perfectly captured this Law when he said, “Circumstances do not make a man, they reveal him.” This means that your outer world circumstances are revealing your inner world and so to change your circumstances, you must change what you think, which includes how you feel, what you assume, what you believe and so on. Moreover, the Ancient Greek Temple of Apollo at Delphi was referring to this great Law of Correspondence in the inscription “Know thyself and thou shalt know all the mysteries of the gods and the Universe”.

Here’s a hypnotherapy script to help align with the Law of Correspondence:

Title: “Unlocking the Power of Correspondence: Aligning with the Inner and Outer Worlds”

Induction:

(Soothing music starts playing. The hypnotherapist’s calming voice guides the client into a relaxed state.)

Hypnotherapist: “Welcome to this sacred space, where you can let go of all worries and concerns. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow your body to relax, starting from the crown of your head, down to your toes. Feel your body sinking deeper into relaxation, like a soft feather bed supporting you.”

Deepening:

“Imagine yourself walking through a peaceful, serene forest, surrounded by towering trees and vibrant flowers. With each step, feel your body relaxing further, like the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze. You are safe, supported, and relaxed. Allow your eyelids to grow heavy, like the gentle closing of a flower petal. Your eyes are closing, and as they do, you’re entering a deep state of relaxation.”

Counting:

“Now, I’ll count from 10 to 1, and with each number, you’ll feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more focused, and more connected to your inner self. 10… 9… 8… 7… 6… 5… 4… 3… 2… 1.”

Guided Imagery:

“Imagine a brilliant, shimmering light at the center of your chest. This light represents the Law of Correspondence, guiding you toward a path of inner and outer alignment. As you breathe in, this light expands, filling your entire body, nourishing your heart, and illuminating your mind.

“Envision yourself as a being of correspondence, where your inner world mirrors your outer world. You are witnessing the profound power of the Law of Correspondence, guiding you toward a life of balance, harmony, and unity.”

Visualization:

“Now, imagine yourself reflecting on your inner world, acknowledging your thoughts, emotions, and desires. You are witnessing how your inner world corresponds to your outer world, and how your outer world reflects your inner world.

“Notice how every aspect of your life is a reflection of your inner world. Your relationships, your health, your finances, and your overall well-being are all a mirror reflection of your inner thoughts, emotions, and desires.

“Imagine yourself taking responsibility for your inner world, acknowledging that you are the creator of your reality. You are choosing to align your inner world with your outer world, creating a life of balance, harmony, and unity.”

Affirmations:

“As you continue to breathe in this empowering energy, repeat the following phrases, allowing them to become a part of your consciousness:

* ‘I am a being of correspondence, where my inner world mirrors my outer world.’

* ‘I take responsibility for my inner world, acknowledging that I am the creator of my reality.’

* ‘I choose to align my inner world with my outer world, creating a life of balance, harmony, and unity.'”

Sealing the Benefits:

“Take a moment to seal the benefits of this journey, allowing the Law of Correspondence to guide you toward a life of inner and outer alignment. Know that you can return to this empowered state whenever you need to, simply by taking a few deep breaths and recalling the feeling of balance, harmony, and unity.”

Counting Up and Awakening:

“Now, I’ll count from 1 to 5, and as I do, you’ll gradually return to a state of full awareness, feeling refreshed, renewed, and connected to the Law of Correspondence. 1… 2… 3… 4… 5. When you’re ready, you can open your eyes, feeling more aligned with the power of correspondence.”

Final Notes:
