Title: “Empowering Self-Control”

Induction:

(Soothing music starts playing. Speak in a calm, gentle tone.)

“Welcome to this empowering hypnotherapy session. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow any tension or stress to release from your body. Feel the weight of your seat, the sensation of the air on your skin, and the sound of my voice guiding you deeper into relaxation.

Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a peaceful lake on a warm summer day. The sun shines down upon you, filling you with a sense of calm and serenity. With each breath, feel your body relaxing, your mind quieting, and your spirit lifting.

As you exhale, repeat the phrase ‘I am relaxed and at peace’ to yourself. Allow the sound of the lake’s gentle lapping against the shore to be the only sound you focus on. You are safe, you are calm, and you are in control.”

Deepening:

“Now, imagine yourself descending a staircase, one step at a time. With each step, feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more calm, and more focused. At the bottom of the staircase, you’ll find a comfortable, cozy room where you can let go of all worries and concerns.

As you enter this room, notice the soothing colours, the soft cushions, and the gentle scent of citrus. Feel the sense of calm and tranquility that permeates this space. Feel the sense of calm and tranquility that permeates this space. You are now in a state of deep relaxation, where your subconscious mind is open to receive positive suggestions and allow powerful changes inside you.”

Script:

“Imagine yourself standing in the most beautiful, peaceful garden. See all the many vibrant flowers blooming all around you, Smell the slight fragrance of the flowers in the breeze, Feel the soft grass beneath your feet, Hear the gentle breeze rustling the leaves. This garden represents your self-control, peace, calm and tranquility. This garden also represents your relationships, your commitments to yourself and others.

“Imagine yourself standing in front of a mirror. Look into your own eyes, and say aloud, ‘I am in control of my thoughts, emotions, and actions.’ Repeat it again, ‘I am in control of my thoughts, emotions, and actions.’ Feel its energy spreading throughout your entire body, filling you with self-control, self-discipline, self-restraint, control, self-mastery, self-possession, will power, strength of will, composure and moderation.

Self-control as the fruit of the spirit represents your relationship with Yourself.

As you gaze into your eyes, notice any areas where you feel a lack of control. Perhaps it’s in your relationships, your diet, or your daily habits. Allow yourself to acknowledge these areas, and then imagine a bright, pulsing light filling those spaces.

This light represents your inner strength, your resilience, and your capacity for self-control. As it grows brighter, feel your confidence and self-assurance increasing. You are taking back control of your life, one decision at a time.

Now, visualize yourself making empowered choices, one by one. See yourself saying ‘no’ to unhealthy temptations, and ‘yes’ to nourishing habits. Watch as you prioritize your well-being, your goals, and your values.

Remember, you are the architect of your life. You have the power to design, to create, and to manifest the reality you desire. You are in control, and you are unstoppable.”

Counting and Awakening:

“Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, slowly count from 5 to 1. As you count, feel yourself becoming more alert, more focused, and more energized.

5… Feel the rise of your chest, the sensation of the air in your lungs.

4… Notice the sensation of your feet on the ground, the stability of your body.

3… Feel the clarity of your mind, the focus of your thoughts.

2… Visualize the bright, pulsing light of self-control still shining bright within you.

1… You are awake, refreshed, and empowered. You are in control, and you are ready to take on your day.”

Self-Discovery

“Now, visualize yourself in a state of perfect clarity, where you see your strengths, your weaknesses, your passions, and your values shining brightly. Imagine the sense of pride, the sense of accomplishment, and the sense of self-awareness that comes from understanding who you truly are.

As you continue to breathe deeply, ask yourself: ‘What are my values? What are my passions? What makes me tick?’ Allow the answers to emerge, and as they do, imagine them settling into your conscious mind, guiding you toward a deeper understanding of yourself.

Repeat after me: ‘I know who I am, I understand my strengths and weaknesses, I am proud of who I am.'”

Amplifying Self-Awareness

“Now, imagine a mirror of self-reflection standing in front of you, representing your ability to see yourself clearly and honestly. With each breath, allow this mirror to grow clearer, reflecting back to you your true self.

Visualize yourself looking into this mirror, seeing your strengths, your weaknesses, your passions, and your values shining back at you. Feel the sense of self-awareness, the sense of understanding, and the sense of acceptance that comes from seeing yourself clearly.

As you continue to breathe deeply, repeat after me: ‘I see myself clearly, I understand myself deeply, I accept myself fully.'”

Integration and Awakening

“As you slowly begin to return to a state of full awareness, remember that you are capable of understanding and accepting who you truly are. Trust that you have the courage, the wisdom, and the self-awareness to live a life that is true to yourself.

Take one final, deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine any remaining doubts or fears leaving your body. When you’re ready, you can slowly open your eyes, feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to live a life that is true to who you are.”
