Title: “Cultivating Peace”

Induction:

(Soothing music starts playing. Speak in a calm, gentle tone.)

“Welcome to this peaceful hypnotherapy session. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow any tension or stress to release from your body. Feel the weight of your seat, the sensation of the air on your skin, and the sound of my voice guiding you deeper into relaxation.

Imagine yourself floating on a serene, calm lake on a warm summer day. The sun is shining down upon you, and the sound of birdsong fills the air. With each breath, feel your body relaxing, your mind quieting, and your spirit lifting.

As you exhale, repeat the phrase ‘I am peaceful and calm’ to yourself. Allow the sound of the water lapping against the shore to be the only sound you focus on. You are safe, you are calm, and you are at peace.”

Deepening:

“Now, imagine yourself descending a staircase, one step at a time. With each step, feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more calm, and more focused. At the bottom of the staircase, you’ll find a peaceful, serene room where you can let go of all worries and concerns.

As you enter this room, notice the soothing colours, the soft cushions, and the gentle scent of jasmine. Feel the sense of calm and tranquility that permeates this space. You are now in a state of deep relaxation, where your subconscious mind is open to receive positive suggestions and allow powerful changes inside you.”

Script:

“Imagine yourself standing in the most beautiful, peaceful garden. See all the many vibrant flowers blooming all around you, Smell the slight fragrance of the flowers in the breeze, Feel the soft grass beneath your feet, Hear the gentle breeze rustling the leaves. This garden represents your inner peace, calm and tranquility.

“Imagine yourself holding a very small, very delicate white flower in your hand. This flower represents the gentle, loving energy of your heart. As you hold the flower, feel its energy spreading throughout your entire body, filling you with peace, tranquility, calm, restfulness, peacefulness, silence, stillness, solitude, harmony, love, compassion, and kindness.

Peace as the fruit of the spirit represents your relationship to God. 

Now, visualize a bright, shining light radiating from your heart, symbolizing the peace that resides within you. See this light expanding, filling your entire body, and overflowing into your relationships and experiences.

Counting and Awakening:

“Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, slowly count from 5 to 1. As you count, feel yourself becoming more alert, more focused, and more energized.

5… Feel the rise of your chest, the sensation of the air in your lungs.

4… Notice the sensation of your feet on the ground, the stability of your body.

3… Feel the clarity of your mind, the focus of your thoughts.

2… Visualize the peaceful, serene garden still blooming within you, symbolizing your inner peace and tranquility.

1… You are awake, refreshed, and filled with peace. You are calm, you are serene, and you are ready to take on your day.”

(Soothing music continues to play for another minute before fading out.)

Now, visualize yourself recognizing the importance of social connection, understanding that it is essential for your emotional and mental well-being. You feel a sense of motivation and desire to connect with others.

Repeat after me: ‘I recognize the importance of social connection.’ ‘I am motivated to connect with others.'”

Section 2: Building Confidence in Social Situations

“Imagine a confident, self-assured self, representing your ability to navigate social situations with ease and confidence. See it, feel its strength and empowerment.

Now, visualize yourself building confidence in social situations, feeling comfortable and at ease in the presence of others. You feel a sense of self-assurance and confidence.

Repeat after me: ‘I build confidence in social situations.’ ‘I am self-assured and capable.'”

Section 3: Overcoming Fear and Anxiety

“Imagine a gentle, soothing breeze, representing the release of fear and anxiety in social situations. See it, feel its calming and peaceful effects.

Now, visualize yourself overcoming fear and anxiety in social situations, feeling calm and relaxed in the presence of others. You feel a sense of freedom and empowerment.

Repeat after me: ‘I overcome fear and anxiety.’ ‘I am calm and confident in social situations.'”

Section 4: Sealing in the New Mindset

“Imagine yourself surrounded by a warm, comforting light, sealing in all the positive affirmations and visualizations from this session.

As you inhale, repeat after me: ‘I am connected.’ ‘I am worthy of social connection and relationships.’

As you exhale, imagine any remaining doubts or fears leaving your body, making space for a new, positive mindset to enter.
