With each breath… your shoulders soften…
Your jaw relaxes…
Your hands become heavier…
Feel the surface beneath you supporting your body…
Right now… in this moment…
You are safe…
There is nothing to solve…
Nothing to fix…
Only this breath…”

Deepening – Activating Calm
“In a moment, I will count from 10 down to 1…
With each number, your body becomes more relaxed…
And your mind becomes clearer…
10… letting go…
9… deeper into calm…
8… releasing tension…
7… safe and steady…

Understanding Stress About the Future

Notice where you feel it…

“Imagine drawing a line in front of you…
On one side of the line is the present moment…
On the other side is the future…
Notice that your body is here…
In the present…

There is air to breathe…

‘Right now, I am safe.’

Feel your nervous system calming…
Releasing the Need to Control
“Now imagine holding a heavy backpack…
Inside it are worries about the future…
What if this happens…

What if I fail…
Notice how heavy it feels…
Now gently remove the backpack…
Place it down beside you…
You can pick up what you need later…
