Imagine these fears and anxieties as separate entities, each with its own voice. Listen to what they have to say, but also remind yourself that they are not in control. You are the one who can choose to let them go.

Here’s a sample hypnotherapy script for overcoming anxiety and living without worry:

Induction

(Soft, calming music plays in the background)

“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll learn to free yourself from fears and overcome anxiety. Find a comfortable position, close your eyes, and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Imagine yourself standing on a peaceful beach at sunset. Feel the soft sand beneath your feet, the gentle breeze on your skin, and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. With each breath, allow yourself to relax and let go of any tension.”

Deepening

“As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine a warm, soothing light beginning to fill your body. This light represents calmness and relaxation. It starts at the crown of your head and slowly flows down to your toes, filling any areas of tension or stress.

As this light touches each part of your body, allow it to release any worries or fears. Imagine them floating away like clouds disappearing into the sky. With each exhalation, feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more at peace.”

Identifying Fears and Anxiety

“Now, bring to mind the specific fears or anxieties that have been holding you back.

What are they?

What do they feel like?

Allow yourself to acknowledge them, but don’t feel obligated to dwell on them.

Imagine these fears and anxieties as separate entities, each with its own voice. Listen to what they have to say, but also remind yourself that they are not in control. You are the one who can choose to let them go.”

Reframing and Release

“Now, imagine a powerful, positive voice within yourself. This voice is confident, calm, and reassuring. It tells you that you are capable of overcoming any fear or anxiety.

Repeat to yourself: ‘I am strong and resilient. I can handle whatever comes my way. I release all fears and anxieties, making space for peace and calmness.’

As you say these words, imagine any remaining fears or worries leaving your body. Visualize them being washed away by the soothing light, like autumn leaves floating down a stream.”

Empowerment and Confidence

“From this peaceful state, imagine yourself handling challenging situations with ease and confidence. Visualize yourself responding to difficult emotions with calmness and clarity.

Repeat to yourself: ‘I trust myself. I trust my abilities. I am capable of navigating any situation that arises.’

Feel a sense of empowerment and confidence growing within you. Know that you have the strength to overcome any obstacle and live a life free from worry and anxiety.”

Counting Up and Awakening

“When you’re ready, slowly begin to bring yourself back to full awareness. Take a few deep breaths, feeling refreshed, renewed, and more confident.

Imagine yourself returning to the present moment, carrying this sense of calmness and empowerment with you. Take a deep breath in, and when you’re ready, slowly open your eyes.

Remember, you can return to this peaceful state whenever you need it. Simply close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, and allow yourself to let go of any worries or fears.”

Post-Hypnotic Suggestion

“From now on, whenever you feel anxious or worried, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you are in control. Repeat the phrase ‘I am calm and capable’ to yourself, and allow the soothing light to fill your body.

Remember, you are strong, resilient, and capable of overcoming any fear or anxiety. Trust yourself, trust the process, and know that you are deserving of a life free from worry and filled with peace, calmness, and joy.”
