Here is a hypnotherapy script with an induction and deepener specifically designed for individuals with an analytical mind:
Induction:
“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session. My voice will guide you through a process of deep relaxation, allowing your analytical mind to quiet down and your subconscious to become more receptive.
Imagine yourself standing in a vast library, surrounded by rows and rows of shelves filled with books. Each book represents a thought, a idea, or a memory. Notice how the books seem to stretch on forever, with each one stacked neatly on top of the other.
Now, imagine a gentle breeze blowing through the library, rustling the pages of the books ever so slightly. As the breeze blows, the books begin to fade away, one by one, until the shelves are empty.
As the last book disappears, notice how the space around you begins to feel lighter, more calm. Your analytical mind, which was once busy processing information, starts to unwind and relax.
Allow your eyes to gently close, and take a deep breath in through your nose, and out through your mouth. As you exhale, repeat the phrase ‘My mind is calm and clear’ to yourself. (pause)
Take another deep breath in, and as you exhale, repeat the phrase again, ‘My mind is calm and clear.’ (pause)
One more deep breath in, and as you exhale, say it one more time, ‘My mind is calm and clear.’ (pause)
You are now relaxed, and your analytical mind is at peace. You are ready to move deeper into a state of hypnosis.”
Deepener:
“Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a tranquil lake on a warm summer day. The water is crystal clear, and you can see all the way to the bottom. Notice the subtle ripples on the surface of the water, caused by the gentle lapping of the waves against the shore.
Now, imagine a small boat, waiting just for you, floating on the surface of the lake. The boat is sturdy, and it’s been waiting for you for a long time.
As you step into the boat, feel the gentle rocking motion, and notice how it synchronizes with the rhythm of your breath. With each breath in, the boat rises slightly, and with each breath out, it settles back down.
As you begin to relax further, imagine the boat starting to drift away from the shore, carried by the gentle current of the lake. The water beneath you grows deeper and calmer, and the world around you fades away.
With each exhalation, allow yourself to let go of any remaining tension or thoughts, and feel the boat sink deeper into the calm waters. You are now in a deeply relaxed state, and your analytical mind is fully immersed in the hypnotic state.
Take a moment to notice how relaxed you feel, and how quiet your mind has become. You are now ready to explore the depths of your subconscious, and make positive changes to your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.”
Remember to speak slowly, calmly, and clearly, and to allow the client to fully immerse themselves in the imagery before moving on to the next step.
