Here’s a sample hypnotherapy script to help you relieve pain and discomfort from your body:

*Induction*

(Speak in a calm, soothing voice)

“Welcome to this peaceful and relaxing experience. Allow yourself to settle in, getting comfortable and cozy. Take a deep breath in, feeling the air fill your lungs, and exhale slowly, releasing any tension or stress.

Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase, with each step leading you deeper into relaxation. With each breath, you’ll feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed, letting go of any thoughts or worries.

As you begin to descend the staircase, notice the sensation of your feet touching each step. Feel the weight of your body being supported, and the sensation of relaxation spreading through your legs, up into your hips, and throughout your entire body.

Allow yourself to let go, feeling your muscles release any tension, your mind quiet, and your body relax. You’re safe, and you’re in control.”

*Deepening*

“Now, imagine yourself in a peaceful, serene environment. This could be a beach, a forest, or a mountain meadow. Take a moment to notice the sights, sounds, and sensations of this place.

Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, or the cool breeze on your face. Notice the sensation of your feet connecting with the ground, feeling grounded and stable.

As you breathe in, imagine fresh, clean air filling your lungs. And as you breathe out, imagine any pain, discomfort, or tension leaving your body.

Allow yourself to sink deeper into relaxation, feeling your body become heavier, more relaxed, and more at ease. You’re safe, and you’re in control.”

*Pain and Discomfort Relief*

“Now, bring your attention to any areas of your body where you’re experiencing pain or discomfort. Imagine a warm, soothing light beginning to fill these areas.

As this light grows, it starts to dissolve any tension, pain, or discomfort. Imagine this light spreading throughout your body, filling any areas of tension or stress.

As you breathe in, imagine this light and relaxation entering your body. And as you breathe out, imagine any pain, discomfort, or tension leaving your body.

Repeat the following phrase to yourself, allowing the words to become a reality: ‘My body is relaxed, my body is calm, my body is free from pain and discomfort.’

Whenever you touch this anchor, you’ll instantly feel a sense of calm, relaxation, and pain relief. You can use this anchor anytime, anywhere, to help you manage pain and discomfort.

Take a moment to visualize this anchor, and repeat the following phrase to yourself: ‘I am in control of my body, I am in control of my pain, and I am at peace.'”

*Counting Up*

“When you’re ready, slowly begin to bring yourself back to a state of full awareness. Take your time, and do this at your own pace.

As you ascend the staircase, notice the sensation of your feet touching each step. Feel the weight of your body being supported, and the sensation of relaxation spreading through your legs, up into your hips, and throughout your entire body.

When you reach the top of the staircase, take a deep breath in, feeling refreshed, renewed, and relaxed. And when you’re ready, you can open your eyes, feeling calm, comfortable, and in control.”
