Induction – Creating Emotional Safety
“Find a comfortable position now…
Allow your body to settle naturally…
When you are ready… gently close your eyes…
Take a slow, deep breath in…
And exhale gently…
Again… breathing in calm…
And breathing out tension…
With each breath… your body softens…
Relax your forehead…
Soften your jaw…
Let your shoulders gently drop…
Feel the support beneath you…
Right now… you are safe…
There is nothing to fix…
Nothing to suppress…
Nothing to judge…
Only space to feel…”
Pause.
Deepening – Entering Compassionate Awareness
“In a moment, I will count from 10 down to 1…
With each number, you drift deeper into calm awareness…
10… relaxing…
9… letting go…
8… softening…
7… safe…
6… deeper still…
5… halfway down…
4… calm and steady…
3… grounded…
2… peaceful…
1… deeply relaxed…”
Pause.
Allowing the Emotion to Appear
“Now gently bring to mind a painful emotion you have been carrying…
It may be sadness…
Grief…
Anger…
Shame…
Disappointment…
Loneliness…
There is no need to relive the story…
Just notice the feeling…
Where do you feel it in your body?
In your chest?
Your stomach?
Your throat?
Your shoulders?
Simply observe…”
Pause.
Acceptance Instead of Resistance
“Often, painful emotions stay longer because we resist them…
Today, you are choosing something different…
Instead of pushing it away…
You allow it space…
Silently say:
‘This feeling is allowed.’
‘I can feel this without being overwhelmed.’
‘I do not need to fight this emotion.’”
Pause.
“Notice that when you stop resisting…
The intensity may soften…”
Feeling Without Judgment
“Imagine this emotion as a wave…
Waves rise…
Peak…
And fall…
No wave lasts forever…
Allow the wave to rise…
Stay present…
Breathe slowly…
You are observing it…
Not drowning in it…”
Pause.
“Say gently:
‘I can feel this and still be safe.’
‘My emotions are temporary.’
‘Feeling is part of healing.’”
Releasing the Emotional Charge
“Now imagine this emotion as energy…
Perhaps it has a color…
A texture…
A temperature…
With each slow exhale…
Imagine releasing a small portion of that energy…
Breathing it out…
Letting it dissolve…
Not forcing it to disappear…
Simply allowing it to move…”
Pause.
“If any tears come…
If any heaviness shifts…
Allow it…
Your body knows how to release…”
Offering Yourself Compassion
“Now imagine placing your hand over the area where you felt the emotion…
Send warmth there…
Say:
‘It makes sense that I felt this.’
‘I honor what I have been through.’
‘I am allowed to heal.’
‘I am allowed to move forward.’”
Pause.
“Painful emotions are not signs of weakness…
They are signs that something mattered…”
Transforming the Narrative
“Now imagine the emotion shrinking gently…
Becoming lighter…
Not erased…
But integrated…
You are not defined by your pain…
You are shaped by your resilience…
Say silently:
‘I release what no longer serves me.’
‘I keep the wisdom and release the suffering.’
‘I am healing.’”
Pause.
Integration & Strength
“From this moment forward…
When painful emotions arise…
You pause instead of suppress…
You breathe instead of panic…
You allow instead of resist…
And because you allow…
They pass more quickly…
Your nervous system learns:
Feeling is safe…
Healing is happening…”
Awakening
“In a moment, I will count from 1 to 5…
At 5, you return feeling lighter… clearer… emotionally balanced…
1… awareness returning…
2… energy gently rising…
3… bringing compassion with you…
4… moving fingers and toes…
5… eyes open… calm… steady… renewed…”
