Imagine that there are several areas of your life where you’d like to take control – your relationships, your career, your health, your finances. Visualize each of these areas as a separate flower in your garden.
Here’s a sample hypnotherapy script for taking control of the elements of your life that you can control:
*Induction*
“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll learn to take control of the elements of your life that you can control. Find a comfortable position, close your eyes, and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Allow yourself to relax, feeling any tension or stress leave your body.”
*Deepening*
“Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a peaceful lake on a calm day. With each breath, feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more centered. Notice the sensation of your feet connecting with the ground, the sensation of the air on your skin, and the sound of the water gently lapping against the shore.”
*Taking Control*
“Now, imagine that you’re standing in the midst of a beautiful garden, surrounded by vibrant flowers and lush greenery. As you look around, notice that there are many things in this garden that are outside of your control – the weather, the growth of the plants, the presence of certain insects. But there are also many things that you can control – the seeds you plant, the water you give them, the care you provide.
“As you breathe in, repeat to yourself, ‘I take control of the elements of my life that I can control.’ As you breathe out, repeat, ‘I let go of the things that are outside of my control.’
“Imagine that you’re holding a small, delicate flower in your hand. This flower represents the areas of your life where you want to take control. As you focus on the flower, visualize yourself nurturing it, caring for it, and guiding it towards growth and flourishing.
“Now, imagine that there are several areas of your life where you’d like to take control – your relationships, your career, your health, your finances. Visualize each of these areas as a separate flower in your garden. As you look at each flower, repeat to yourself, ‘I take control of this area of my life. I make conscious choices that align with my values and goals.'”
*Empowerment*
“As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine that you’re becoming more confident, more empowered. You’re taking ownership of your life, and you’re making choices that align with your values and goals.
“Repeat to yourself, ‘I am capable and competent. I trust myself to make wise decisions. I take control of the elements of my life that I can control, and I let go of the things that are outside of my control.'”
*Counting Up*
“When I’m done counting, you’ll feel refreshed, renewed, and empowered to take control of the elements of your life that you can control. You’ll feel more confident, more focused, and more directed.
“Start with 5… feel the energy building in your body. 4… feel your confidence growing. 3… feel your sense of control expanding. 2… feel yourself becoming more empowered. 1… you’re back to full awareness, feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to take on the challenges of your life.”
*Wake-Up*
“Take a deep breath in, and when you’re ready, slowly open your eyes. Notice how you’re feeling, and take that feeling with you throughout your day.”
