Take a deep breath in through your nose, and exhale through your mouth. Feel the air move in and out of your body, and allow any tension to release.

Imagine yourself standing on a peaceful, serene beach at sunset. With each breath, feel your feet grounding into the sand, becoming more stable and secure. Notice the sensation of the sand beneath you, the sound of the waves gently lapping at the shore, and the warmth of the setting sun on your skin.

As you inhale, repeat the phrase ‘I am calm and relaxed’ to yourself. As you exhale, repeat ‘I let go of all tension and stress.’ Allow yourself to fully let go, surrendering to the present moment.”

Deepening

“Now, imagine a warm, soothing light beginning to fill your body. This light represents self-love, self-acceptance, and self-compassion. As it flows into your body, it dissolves any remaining tension, filling you with a sense of calm and inner peace.

Imagine this light starting at the crown of your head, flowing down through your face, neck, and shoulders. As it travels, it relaxes your muscles, calming your mind and emotions. This light continues down through your arms, chest, abdomen, lower back, hips, legs, and finally, your toes.

With each breath, feel this light expanding, filling any areas of tension or stress. Allow yourself to let go, trusting that you’re safe and supported.”

Emotional Expression, Self-Image, and Identity

“Now, bring to mind the concept of emotional expression. Imagine it’s like a river, flowing effortlessly and smoothly. As you explore your emotional expression, notice any areas where you may feel blocked, hesitant, or uncertain.

Allow yourself to acknowledge these feelings, and imagine that you’re standing on the riverbank, watching the water flow by. Notice any areas where the river may be dammed or stagnant. Imagine that you’re speaking to your inner self, and you’re offering kindness, compassion, and understanding. You might say, ‘I trust that I can express my emotions authentically, and I allow myself to feel and process them in a healthy way.’

Next, bring to mind the concept of self-image. Imagine it’s like a mirror, reflecting your inner beauty, worth, and value. As you explore your self-image, notice any areas where you may feel uncertain, insecure, or unworthy.

Allow yourself to acknowledge these feelings, and imagine that you’re looking into the mirror, seeing yourself with kindness, compassion, and acceptance. You might say, ‘I trust that I am worthy of love, respect, and happiness, and I allow myself to see myself in a positive and loving light.’

Finally, bring to mind the concept of identity. Imagine it’s like a puzzle, with all the pieces coming together to form a complete and beautiful picture. As you explore your identity, notice any areas where you may feel uncertain, unclear, or disconnected.

Allow yourself to acknowledge these feelings, and imagine that you’re putting together the puzzle pieces, finding your own unique and authentic identity. You might say, ‘I trust that I am a unique and special individual, and I allow myself to express myself authentically and confidently.'”

Reprogramming

“Now, imagine that you’re rewriting your inner dialogue, reprogramming your mind with positive, empowering affirmations. Repeat the following phrases to yourself, allowing the words to sink deeply into your mind and heart:

* ‘I trust that I can express my emotions authentically, and I allow myself to feel and process them in a healthy way.’

* ‘I am worthy of love, respect, and happiness, and I allow myself to see myself in a positive and loving light.’
