“Now, I’d like you to imagine yourself descending a gentle stairway, with each step, feeling yourself becoming more relaxed, more calm, and more focused. With each step, repeat the phrase, ‘I am relaxing, I am calm, I am focused’… (pause) 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

You’re now at a depth of relaxation where your subconscious mind is open to positive suggestions and changes. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, feel any remaining tension or stress leaving your body.”

Removing the Anchoring Bias

“Imagine a large, sturdy anchor, representing the anchoring bias, attached to your mind. This anchor has been influencing your thoughts and decisions, causing you to rely too heavily on the first piece of information you receive.

As you exhale, imagine this anchor starting to loosen, becoming lighter, and less influential. With each breath, feel the anchor’s grip on your mind weakening, allowing you to think more objectively, more critically, and more independently.

Now, imagine a beam of bright, white light shining down on the anchor, illuminating its presence, and casting away any shadows of doubt or uncertainty. This light represents clarity, objectivity, and sound judgment.

As you continue to breathe deeply, feel the anchor’s influence fading away, replaced by a sense of confidence, and trust in your own decision-making abilities. You’re now free to evaluate information based on its merit, rather than being swayed by arbitrary anchors.
