Focus on you Having Positive Reactions with Hypnotherapy

Focusing on positive reactions involves actively seeking out and emphasizing the good aspects of situations and experiences. This can be achieved through various techniques such as reframing negative thoughts, practicing gratitude, and engaging in positive self-talk.

Here is a hypnotherapy script that helps you focus on having positive reactions:

Introduction

(Soft, calming music starts playing. The therapist’s voice is gentle, soothing, and loving.)

Therapist: “Welcome to this peaceful space, where you’re invited to embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Allow yourself to settle in, get comfortable, and take a deep breath in… and out… Feel the weight of your body on the chair, the sensation of the air on your skin, and the sound of my voice guiding you with love and compassion.”

Induction

Therapist: “Close your eyes, dear one, and take another deep breath in… and out… As you exhale, imagine any tension, stress, or anxiety leaving your body, like a leaf gently floating away on a soft breeze. Allow your eyelids to grow heavy, and your breath to become calm and relaxed. Imagine yourself standing in a serene landscape, surrounded by calming elements, and the warm, comforting presence of loving energy.”

Deepening

Therapist: “As you begin to walk through this peaceful landscape, notice the sensation of your feet touching the soft ground. With each step, feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more calm, and more centered. Imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet, deep into the earth, anchoring you in stability, peace, and profound self-love. Allow your heart to open, and your breathing to become even more relaxed, as you surrender to the present moment.”

Focusing on Positive Reactions

Therapist: “Now, dear one, bring to mind a situation that might have triggered a negative reaction in the past. It could be a difficult conversation, a challenging task, or a stressful environment. Allow yourself to imagine this situation, and notice how you might have reacted in the past. Perhaps you felt anxious, frustrated, or overwhelmed.”

(Pause for a few moments to allow the client to process and reflect)

Therapist: “As you breathe deeply, imagine that you’re now responding to this situation in a positive way. You’re feeling calm, centered, and confident. You’re able to think clearly, and respond with kindness, compassion, and understanding. Imagine yourself handling this situation with ease, and feeling proud of yourself for your positive reaction.”

Reinforcing Positive Thoughts

Therapist: “Now, dear one, repeat these positive affirmations to yourself: ‘I am capable of handling any situation that comes my way.’ ‘I trust myself to make wise decisions.’ ‘I am strong, resilient, and resourceful.’ Allow these words to sink deeply into your mind and heart, and feel the truth of them resonating within you. Imagine any self-doubt, or criticism, melting away, like ice in the warm sun.”

Visualizing Success

Therapist: “Imagine yourself in a situation where you’re responding positively, and feeling good about yourself. You’re handling challenges with ease, and feeling confident in your abilities. You’re surrounded by supportive people, and feeling loved and appreciated. Allow yourself to fully immerse in this positive experience, and to feel the emotions of success, happiness, and fulfillment.”

Empowerment and Self-Love

Therapist: “As you slowly begin to come back to the present moment, take a deep breath in… and out… Remember that you have the power to choose how you want to experience your life, and that you’re capable of creating a reality that’s aligned with your deepest values, and desires. Trust in your own inner wisdom, and know that you’re deserving of love, care, and compassion – always.

Repeat these words to yourself, and feel the truth of them resonating within you: ‘I am loved, I am worthy, and I am enough.'”

Counting Up and Grounding

Therapist: “When you’re ready, you can slowly open your eyes, feeling refreshed, renewed, and more connected to your own heart. Take a moment to notice how you’re feeling, and to acknowledge the love, and compassion that’s always present within you. Remember to be gentle with yourself, and to prioritize your own well-being, as you navigate the ups and downs of life.”

Letting Go of Self-Criticism with Hypnotherapy

Here is a hypnotherapy script for letting go of self-criticism:

Induction

“Welcome to this journey of self-reflection and growth. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow yourself to let go of any tension or stress. Allow your body to relax, starting from the crown of your head, down to your toes.

Imagine yourself standing in a peaceful, serene environment, surrounded by calming energy. Feel the gentle breeze on your skin, and the warm sunlight on your face.

As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine a gentle, calming mist beginning to envelop your body. This mist is filled with soothing energy, and it’s washing away any remaining tension or anxiety. Allow yourself to surrender to its calming effects, feeling more relaxed with each passing moment.

You are now in a state of deep relaxation, open to the possibility of letting go of self-criticism and embracing self-acceptance.”

Deepening

“Imagine yourself standing in front of a mirror, looking at your reflection with kindness and compassion. Notice the beauty, the uniqueness, and the worthiness that stares back at you.

Repeat the following phrase to yourself: ‘I am enough, just as I am.’ Allow the words to become a gentle mantra, guiding you deeper into self-acceptance and self-love.

Take a moment to acknowledge the imperfections, the flaws, and the quirks that make you, you. Notice how these imperfections are a part of your unique story, and how they make you stronger, wiser, and more resilient.

As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine a warm, comforting light beginning to fill your body, nourishing your self-acceptance and self-love. Feel the sense of peace, the sense of calm, and the sense of self-compassion that comes from embracing yourself, just as you are.”

Letting Go of Self-Criticism

“Imagine yourself standing in front of a large, old book, representing your inner critic. Notice the worn, tattered pages, filled with negative self-talk and self-doubt.

As you continue to breathe deeply, imagine a gentle, soothing light beginning to emanate from within you. This light is warm, comforting, and filled with self-love and self-acceptance.

Feel the light beginning to dissolve the pages of the book, one by one, erasing the negative self-talk and self-doubt. Notice how the book begins to shrink, becoming smaller and smaller, until it disappears completely.

Repeat the following phrase to yourself: ‘I am kind to myself, I am compassionate towards myself.’ Allow the words to become a part of you, a reminder of the power of self-love and self-acceptance.

Imagine yourself stepping into a new, clean, and clear space, free from the weight of self-criticism. Feel the sense of freedom, the sense of liberation, and the sense of peace that comes from embracing yourself, just as you are.”
