Sexual Dysfunction can be caused by Sexual Trauma from the past and can be addressed with Hypnotherapy

Imagine that you are in a loving, intimate situation with your partner. See yourself as connected, present, and fully engaged.

Here is a sample script for a hypnotherapy session focused on addressing sexual dysfunction caused by sexual trauma from the past:

Title: “Releasing Trauma and Embracing Intimacy”

Induction:

“Welcome, and take a deep breath in. As you exhale, allow yourself to relax and let go of any tension or stress. Imagine yourself in a safe, peaceful environment, where you feel protected and supported.

“As you settle in, take another deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow your eyes to gently close. Feel your body becoming heavier, more relaxed, and more calm with each breath.

You are safe, and you are in control.

“Imagine yourself descending a peaceful staircase, with each step, feeling yourself becoming more relaxed, more calm, and more centered. With each breath, repeat the phrase ‘I am relaxed’ to yourself, allowing the words to sink deep into your subconscious mind.”

Deepening:

“Imagine yourself in a beautiful, serene sanctuary, surrounded by protective walls and filled with comforting energy. Notice the sounds of calmness around you, the gentle hum of a waterfall, and the soothing scent of lavender. Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, and the gentle breeze caressing your face.

“As you walk through this sanctuary, notice the different symbols and objects that represent your personal strength, resilience, and courage. See the statues of wisdom, the gardens of healing, and the fountains of forgiveness. Allow yourself to feel a sense of connection to this sanctuary, and know that it is a safe space for you to explore and heal.”

Sexual Trauma:

“Now, imagine that you are standing in a peaceful meadow, surrounded by wildflowers and the gentle rustling of leaves.

Notice the feeling of safety and calmness in this meadow.

“Imagine that you are holding a small, delicate box in your hand. This box represents the memories and emotions associated with the sexual trauma from your past. Notice how it feels, perhaps heavy, painful, and overwhelming.

“Imagine that you are slowly opening the box, feeling the weight of the memories, and then gently releasing them into the air. Watch as they slowly float away, taking all the pain and trauma with them.

“Repeat after me: ‘I release the trauma.’ ‘I let go of the pain.’ ‘I forgive myself and others.’

“Imagine that with each breath, you are letting go of any remaining trauma or pain, and instead, filling yourself with self-love, self-acceptance, and self-compassion. See yourself as a sexual being, worthy of pleasure, intimacy, and connection.”

Visualization:

“Now, imagine that you are in a loving, intimate situation with your partner. See yourself as connected, present, and fully engaged.

Notice the sensations in your body, the feelings of pleasure and arousal.

“Imagine that you are fully absorbed in the moment, enjoying the sensations and the connection with your partner.

See yourself as a sexual being, confident, relaxed, and fully present.

“As you visualize this scenario, repeat after me: ‘I am fully present in the moment.’ ‘I trust in my abilities.’ ‘I am worthy of pleasure and intimacy.'”

Counting and Awakening:

“Now, take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, slowly count backwards from five, feeling yourself becoming more alert and awake with each number. Five… four… three… two… one.

“When you are ready, slowly open your eyes, and take a deep breath in, feeling refreshed, renewed, and more connected to your body and your sexuality.”

This script is designed to help individuals overcome sexual dysfunction caused by sexual trauma from the past, and to promote self-love, self-acceptance, and self-forgiveness. Remember to adjust the script to fit the specific needs and goals of your client.

Activate Your Vagus Nerve with Hypnotherapy

Your vagus nerve is now active, promoting a state of calm and relaxation. You are safe, you are calm, and you are in control.

Here is a script for a hypnotherapy session to activate the vagus nerve:

Induction

(Speak in a calm, soothing tone)

“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll learn to tap into the power of your vagus nerve. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow your body to relax. Feel the weight of your seat, the sensation of the air on your skin, and the sound of my voice guiding you.

Imagine yourself in a peaceful, serene environment. It could be a beach at sunset, a forest glade, or a cozy mountain meadow. Allow yourself to fully immerse in this setting, and let go of any tension or stress.

Take another deep breath in, and as you exhale, repeat the phrase ‘I am relaxed and calm’ to yourself. Feel the words resonating within you, calming your mind and body.”

Deepening

“Now, bring your attention to your breath. Focus on the sensation of the air moving in and out of your body. Imagine each breath as a wave, washing over you, calming and soothing you.

As you inhale, count ‘one’ to yourself. Hold the breath for a moment, and then exhale, counting ‘two.’ Continue this pattern, allowing yourself to settle deeper into relaxation with each breath.

Remember, you are safe, you are calm, and you are in control. Allow yourself to let go of any remaining tension, and sink deeper into relaxation.”

Vagus Nerve Activation

“Imagine a radiant, pulsing light at the base of your skull, where your vagus nerve resides. This light represents your body’s natural ability to heal and relax.

As you inhale, visualize this light expanding, filling your neck, throat, and chest. Feel the warmth and comfort of this light spreading throughout your body.

Now, imagine this light pulsing in rhythm with your heart, growing stronger with each beat. Feel your heart rate slowing, your breathing becoming more relaxed, and your mind calming.

Repeat the phrase ‘My vagus nerve is active and calm’ to yourself, allowing the words to resonate within you. Feel the gentle, soothing energy of your vagus nerve activating, promoting relaxation and balance throughout your body.”

Suggestions

“As you continue to breathe deeply, allow yourself to fully surrender to the relaxation. Imagine any areas of tension or stress melting away, released with each exhalation.

Your vagus nerve is now active, promoting a state of calm and relaxation. You are safe, you are calm, and you are in control.

Remember, this feeling of relaxation and calm can be accessed at any time, simply by focusing on your breath and visualizing the pulsing light of your vagus nerve.”

Counting and Awakening

“Now, take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, count ‘one’ to yourself. Take another breath in, and as you exhale, count ‘two.’ Continue counting, slowly and calmly, up to five.

As you reach the count of five, take a deep breath in, and when you exhale, slowly open your eyes. You are now fully awake, feeling refreshed, relaxed, and calm.

Take a moment to notice how you’re feeling. Notice the sensation of your body, the clarity of your mind, and the sense of calm that has settled within you.”

Remember to always consult with a healthcare professional before using hypnotherapy scripts, especially if you’re working with clients who have underlying medical conditions.
