Below is a calm, empowering hypnotherapy script built around the theme:

“Have fun with everything in your life — without disappointing yourself.
Stay in control of your thoughts, your words, and your actions.”

This script is non-regressive, trauma-aware, and self-leadership focused, suitable for groups or individual sessions.
It balances joy, discipline, and inner authority.

Hypnotherapy Script: Joy with Self-Control

Induction | Entering Calm Awareness

Find a comfortable position.
You may sit or lie down – whatever allows your body to relax.

Gently close your eyes…
or soften your gaze.

Take a slow breath in through your nose…
and release it gently through your mouth.

Again…
breathing in ease…
breathing out tension.

With every breath out, your body settles,
and your mind becomes clear and receptive.

Silently say to yourself:
I am safe. I am present. I am in control.

Deepening | Calm Strength

As your breathing becomes natural,
notice how calm does not make you weak—
it makes you steady.

Your shoulders soften…
your jaw relaxes…
your thoughts slow into clarity.

You are not drifting.
You are becoming focused.

Your subconscious mind – the part of you that governs habits, choices, and follow-through – is now open and attentive.

Core Theme | Enjoyment Without Losing Yourself

Now allow this idea to settle gently into your awareness:

You are allowed to enjoy life.
You are allowed to have fun.
You are allowed to experience pleasure, curiosity, and spontaneity.

And at the same time…
you are someone who respects yourself.

Enjoyment does not require self-betrayal.
Freedom does not require loss of control.

True fun feels light and aligned.

Therapeutic Reframing | Inner Leadership

Bring your attention to a calm, steady place inside you—the part of you that observes, chooses, and decides.

This part of you:

  • pauses before reacting
  • thinks before speaking
  • acts with intention

Silently repeat:

  • I choose my thoughts.
  • I choose my words.
  • I choose my actions.

You are not controlled by impulses.
You direct them.

Visualization | Living with Balance

Now imagine yourself moving through your daily life.

You laugh easily.
You engage fully.
You enjoy moments without guilt.

And notice something important:
You still show up for yourself.
You still keep your word to yourself.
You still make choices you respect later.

See yourself:

  • thinking clearly
  • speaking honestly and kindly
  • acting in ways that align with your values

This balance feels natural.
Effortless.
Strong.

Installing Self-Control Without Rigidity

Allow these truths to anchor deeply:

Self-control is not restriction.
It is self-respect.

Discipline is not punishment.
It is direction.

You don’t control yourself through force.
You lead yourself through awareness.

Silently repeat:

  • I enjoy life without disappointing myself.
  • I pause and choose wisely.
  • I trust myself to stay aligned.

Your subconscious accepts this as a new operating pattern.

Future Pacing | Automatic Alignment

Now imagine a future moment where you might once have acted impulsively.

See yourself pausing – just briefly.
Choosing words that feel right.
Taking an action you respect afterward.

Notice how good it feels to trust yourself.

This becomes automatic.
Natural.
Effortless.

You are having fun and staying in control.

Integration | Identity Statement

Let this identity settle deeply now:

I am someone who enjoys life and honors myself.
I am calm, aware, and intentional.
I stay in control of my thoughts, my words, and my actions.

This identity strengthens every day through practice and choice.

Return | Re-Orientation

In a moment, I’ll count from one to five.

With each number, you return feeling clear, confident, and grounded.

1… awareness returning to your body
2… feeling steady and calm
3… breathing in fresh energy
4… feeling alert and empowered
5… eyes open when ready, relaxed and in control

Closing Statement

You don’t need to limit your joy to protect your future.
You protect your future by leading yourself well.

Have fun with life.
Stay aware.
Stay aligned.
Stay true to yourself.

Allow Acceptance for Your Actions of Guilt and Shame linked to Being Fake with Hypnotherapy

Being fake refers to acting in a way that is not genuine or sincere, often to deceive or manipulate others, or to fit in. It involves misrepresenting oneself, one’s beliefs, or one’s actions.

Here’s a sample hypnotherapy script that addresses feelings of guilt and shame related to being fake, and promotes acceptance and personal growth:

Title: Acceptance and Release from Guilt and Shame linked to Being Fake

Introduction:

(Soothing music starts playing. The hypnotherapist’s voice is calm and gentle.)

Hypnotherapist: “Welcome to this hypnotherapy session. Allow yourself to settle in, get comfortable, and take a deep breath in… and out… Feel the weight of your body on the chair, the sensation of the air on your skin, and the sound of my voice guiding you through this process. You’ve taken a brave step by acknowledging your actions and seeking help. Remember, this is a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your feelings and work towards healing and growth.”

Induction:

“Close your eyes and take another deep breath in… As you exhale, imagine any tension or stress leaving your body. Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase, with each step leading you deeper into relaxation. With each step, feel your body becoming heavier, more relaxed, and more open to positive change.

Take 5-7 steps down, and with each step, repeat the phrase ‘I let go’ to yourself.”

Deepening:

“Imagine yourself in a peaceful, safe place. This could be a beach, a forest, or any place that feels comfortable and relaxing to you. Take a moment to notice the sights, sounds, and sensations in this place. Feel the ground beneath your feet, the air on your skin, and the sense of calm in your heart. As you breathe in, imagine fresh, calming energy entering your body. As you breathe out, imagine any remaining tension or stress leaving your body.”

Addressing Guilt and Shame:

“Now, bring to mind the experience of being fake or pretending to be someone you’re not. Allow yourself to acknowledge the feelings of guilt and shame that arise. Notice where these feelings reside in your body.

Is it in your chest, your stomach, or somewhere else?

Imagine these feelings as a cloud or a colour in your body. As you breathe in, imagine fresh, calming energy entering this cloud or colour. As you breathe out, imagine the cloud or colour beginning to dissipate, releasing the guilt and shame from your body. Remember, that you were likely trying to cope with feelings of inadequacy or fear of rejection, and that it’s okay to make mistakes.”

Releasing Guilt and Shame:

“Repeat the following phrase to yourself, allowing the words to sink deeply into your mind and heart: ‘I acknowledge my actions, and I release the guilt and shame associated with them. I understand that I was trying to protect myself or fit in, but I also recognize the harm that being fake can cause to myself and others. I choose to learn from my experience, take responsibility for my actions, and work towards being more authentic and genuine in my relationships.’ As you repeat this phrase, imagine the cloud or color in your body continuing to dissipate, releasing any remaining guilt and shame.”

Acceptance and Self-Compassion:

“Now, imagine a warm, comforting light filling your body. This light represents acceptance, self-compassion, and understanding. As you breathe in, imagine this light nourishing your heart and mind. As you breathe out, imagine any self-criticism or self-doubt leaving your body.

Repeat the following phrase to yourself, allowing the words to become a part of your inner dialogue: ‘I am enough, exactly as I am. I am worthy of love, compassion, and forgiveness – from myself and others.’ Remember, that it’s okay to be imperfect and that authenticity is a journey, not a destination.”

Integration and Closure:

“Take a moment to notice how you’re feeling now. Notice any shifts in your body or your emotional state. Imagine yourself integrating the insights and releases from this session into your daily life. As you breathe in, imagine fresh energy and positivity entering your body. As you breathe out, imagine any remaining challenges or difficulties leaving your body.

When you’re ready, slowly open your eyes, and take a deep breath in, feeling refreshed, renewed, and more at peace. Remember to be gentle and kind to yourself, as you continue on your journey of healing and growth.”

Post-Hypnotic Suggestion:

“Remember, you can return to this peaceful, safe place whenever you need to. Whenever you feel overwhelmed or challenged, take a deep breath in, and repeat the phrase ‘I am enough, exactly as I am.’ Allow yourself to release any guilt, shame, or self-criticism, and instead, cultivate self-compassion, empathy, and kindness – towards yourself and others. And when you’re ready, consider taking small steps towards being more authentic and genuine in your relationships, such as sharing your true feelings or thoughts with someone you trust.

Remember, that authenticity is a journey, and it’s okay to take it one step at a time.”
