Here’s a hypnotherapy script to help individuals see things for what they are and to see the bigger picture of their body weight:

Induction

(Soft, calming music plays in the background)

“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll gain a deeper understanding of your body weight and develop a healthier relationship with food and your body. Find a comfortable seated or lying position, close your eyes, and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Imagine yourself standing on a mountain peak, surrounded by a breathtaking landscape. See the rolling hills, the trees, and the clear blue sky. With each breath, allow yourself to relax and let go of any tension or stress.

As you inhale, repeat the phrase ‘I am calm and centered.’ As you exhale, repeat the phrase ‘I let go of all resistance.’ Allow yourself to settle deeper into relaxation with each breath.”

Deepening

“Imagine a warm, soothing light beginning to fill your body, starting at the crown of your head. As this light travels down through your face, neck, and shoulders, it dissolves any remaining tension or stress.

As this light continues to flow down through your body, it brings a sense of calm and relaxation to your chest, abdomen, and lower back. Your arms and legs feel heavy and relaxed, as if they’re sinking into the earth.

With each breath, allow yourself to let go of any thoughts or worries. Simply focus on the sensation of the light filling your body, and the feeling of relaxation that comes with it.”

Seeing Things for What They Are

“Now, imagine yourself standing in front of a mirror. See your reflection, and notice how you perceive your body. Allow yourself to acknowledge any areas where you may have been critical or judgmental.

As you gaze at your reflection, repeat the following phrases to yourself:

‘I see my body for what it is – a unique and valuable vessel that carries me through life.’

‘I see that my weight is just a number, and it does not define my worth or value as a person.’

‘I see that my body is capable and strong, and it deserves to be nourished and cared for.’

As you repeat these phrases, imagine any distorted or negative perceptions of your body begin to fade away. See yourself with clarity and objectivity, and allow yourself to develop a more compassionate and accepting relationship with your body.”

Seeing the Bigger Picture

“Now, imagine yourself standing on a mountaintop, looking out at a vast and breathtaking landscape. See the interconnectedness of all things, and the intricate web of relationships that exists between your body, your mind, and your environment.

As you gaze out at this landscape, repeat the following phrases to yourself:

‘I see that my body weight is just one aspect of my overall health and well-being.’

‘I see that my health is influenced by a complex interplay of factors, including my diet, my lifestyle, and my environment.’

‘I see that I have the power to make choices that nourish and care for my body, and that these choices can have a profound impact on my overall well-being.’

As you repeat these phrases, imagine yourself gaining a deeper understanding of the complex factors that influence your body weight. See yourself empowered to make informed choices that support your health and well-being, and allow yourself to feel a sense of confidence and control.”

Anchoring

“To anchor this new perspective into your subconscious mind, I want you to imagine a specific action that you’ll take when you wake up from this session. This could be something as simple as taking a deep breath, or visualizing yourself making a healthy food choice.

Whenever you perform this action, remember to repeat the phrase ‘I see things for what they are, and I trust myself to make choices that support my health and well-being.’ Allow this phrase to become a trigger that reminds you of your new perspective and motivates you to make positive choices.”

Counting Up

“When you’re ready, slowly begin to bring yourself back to a state of full awareness. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, repeat the phrase ‘I am refreshed and renewed.

Count slowly to yourself, from 1 to 5. As you reach each number, feel yourself becoming more alert and awake.

1… You’re beginning to feel more alert.

2… Your senses are coming back online.

3… You’re feeling more energized and refreshed.

4… You’re almost back to full awareness.

5… You’re now fully awake and alert, feeling refreshed and renewed.”

Take Away

“Take a deep breath in, and when you’re ready, slowly open your eyes. Remember to take your anchor with you, and to repeat the phrase ‘I see things for what they are, and I trust myself to make choices that support my health and well-being’ whenever you need to remind yourself of your new perspective.

Keep in mind that hypnotherapy is not a magic solution, but rather a tool to help you develop a healthier relationship with food and your body. With consistent practice and a commitment to your goals, you can achieve success and develop a more positive and compassionate relationship with yourself.”
