Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. Just because it’s easy, doesn’t mean it’s worth your while. Do what’s right, not what’s easiest right now. It’s a less stressful way to live in the long run.

Here is a hypnotherapy script to help you start doing the right thing, even if it’s not the easiest option:

Induction

Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow your body to relax, letting go of any tension or stress. Imagine yourself sinking deeper into relaxation with each breath.

Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase, with each step leading you deeper into relaxation. With each breath, take a step down, feeling your body becoming heavier, sleepier, and more relaxed.

As you reach the bottom of the staircase, imagine yourself in a peaceful, calm place, surrounded by warmth and comfort. This is your safe space, where you can cultivate a sense of integrity and do the right thing.

Deepening

Allow yourself to settle even deeper into relaxation, feeling your body becoming heavier, your mind quieter, and your spirit more open.

Imagine a warm, soothing light filling your entire body, dissolving any remaining tension or stress. As this light circulates through your body, it awakens your sense of integrity and morality.

Doing the Right Thing

Now, bring to mind a situation where you know you need to do the right thing, even if it’s not the easiest option. It could be standing up for someone, taking responsibility for a mistake, or making a difficult decision.

As you hold this situation in your mind, imagine a small, delicate compass in front of you. This compass represents your moral compass and sense of integrity.

Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine gently aligning yourself with your values and principles. See yourself taking the moral high ground, even if it’s hard.

Repeat the following affirmation to yourself, allowing the words to sink deeply into your subconscious mind:

“I do the right thing, even if it’s not the easiest option. I stand up for what’s right, even if it’s hard.”

Visualization

Imagine yourself in a situation where you’re tempted to take the easy way out. See yourself taking a deep breath, and reminding yourself of your values and principles. See yourself doing the right thing, even if it’s difficult.

As you visualize yourself doing the right thing, feel a sense of pride growing within you. Know that you’re doing the right thing, even if it’s not the easiest option.

Reframing

Now, imagine reframing your thoughts about doing the right thing. Instead of seeing it as a burden or a chore, see it as a chance to stand up for what you believe in and make a positive impact.

Repeat the following affirmation to yourself, allowing the words to become a part of your inner dialogue:

“I do the right thing, because it’s who I am. I stand up for what I believe in, even if it’s hard.”

Closing

Take a moment to integrate the insights and feelings from this journey. Know that you have the power to do the right thing, even if it’s not the easiest option.

As you slowly open your eyes, remember to carry this sense of integrity and morality with you, and to return to it whenever you need to make a difficult decision.

Repeat the following affirmation to yourself, as you go about your day:

“I do the right thing, even if it’s not the easiest option. I stand up for what I believe in, even if it’s hard.”

Remember to use this script in a relaxing and comfortable environment, and to suit the individual’s needs and preferences.
