Overcome Insecurity Hypnotherapy

Imagine yourself taking action to build confidence. You’re setting goals, practicing self-care, and surrounding yourself with positive influences.

When you face uncertainty in a relationship, unsure of how their partner really feels about them, checking their whereabouts whilst they are away or seeking constant reassurance, they could be suffering from feelings of insecurity. Insecurity and jealousy can easily destroy any relationship and your client will want to overcome those negative feelings, especially if they can recognise a pattern of responding in a similar way within previous relationships.

This Overcome Insecurity hypnosis script can help you to identify early occurrences to see how their insecurity has developed and it also includes a toolbox of positive suggestions and strategies on how they can respond in a more appropriate manner in future in order to save their present or future relationships.

Here is a script for a hypnotherapy session focused on overcoming insecurity:

Induction

“Welcome to this hypnotherapy session, where you’ll learn to overcome insecurity and build unshakeable confidence. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow yourself to relax, letting go of any tension or stress.

Imagine yourself in a peaceful, comforting place, where you feel safe and relaxed. This could be a beach at sunset, a forest glade, or a cozy room in your home. Take a moment to visualize this place, and allow yourself to fully immerse in its tranquility.

As you continue to breathe deeply, I’ll guide you through this session, and we’ll explore ways to overcome insecurity, build confidence, and develop a more positive self-image.”

Deepening

“Now, imagine a warm, soothing light beginning to fill your body, starting at the crown of your head and flowing down to your toes. As this light travels through your body, it relaxes each muscle, quieting your mind and calming your emotions.

With each breath, this light grows stronger, filling you with a sense of peace and tranquility. You feel your eyelids growing heavy, your shoulders releasing, and your heart rate slowing. You’re becoming more relaxed, more calm, and more serene with each passing moment.

Allow yourself to let go of any thoughts or worries, and simply focus on the sensation of this peaceful light filling your body.”

Visualization

“Imagine yourself in a situation where you feel insecure or uncertain. It could be a social event, a meeting at work, or a personal relationship.

As you visualize this scenario, notice how you feel. Do you feel anxious, self-doubting, or fearful? Allow yourself to fully immerse in this feeling, and then take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine any insecurity or doubt leaving your body.

Now, imagine yourself feeling confident and self-assured. You’re standing tall, speaking clearly, and exuding confidence. You’re believing in yourself, your abilities, and your worth.

Repeat the following phrase to yourself: ‘I am confident, I am capable, I am worthy of success.'”

Empowerment

“Imagine a sense of confidence and empowerment growing within you. You’re aware of your strengths, your accomplishments, and your positive qualities. You know that you can overcome insecurity and build unshakeable confidence.

As you continue to breathe deeply, repeat the following phrase to yourself: ‘I am strong, I am capable, I am worthy of success.’ Allow these words to fill you with confidence and empowerment.

Now, imagine yourself taking action to build confidence. You’re setting goals, practicing self-care, and surrounding yourself with positive influences.

As you continue to visualize this scenario, notice how you feel. Do you feel proud, satisfied, or happy? Allow yourself to integrate this feeling into your daily life, knowing that you have the power to overcome insecurity and build unshakeable confidence.”

Integration

“Now, imagine yourself back in your peaceful, comforting place. Notice how you feel different, how you feel more confident, more calm, and more empowered.

Take a moment to integrate this new feeling of empowerment into your daily life. Imagine yourself facing similar situations, but this time, you respond with confidence, self-assurance, and a positive self-image.

As you continue to breathe deeply, repeat the following phrase to yourself: ‘I am confident, I am capable, I am worthy of success.'”

Counting and Awakening

“As you continue to breathe deeply, I’ll count from 1 to 5, and when I reach 5, you’ll slowly, gently open your eyes, feeling refreshed, renewed, and filled with a sense of confidence and empowerment.

1… Your body feels relaxed, your mind is calm, and your heart is at peace.

2… You’re aware of your breath, slow and steady, filling you with tranquility.

3… Your thoughts are clear, your emotions are balanced, and your spirit is confident.

4… You feel connected to yourself, to others, and to the world around you.

5… When you’re ready, slowly open your eyes, and take a deep breath in, carrying this sense of confidence and empowerment with you into your daily life.”

Remember, the goal of this script is to guide the client into a state of deep relaxation, where they can access their subconscious mind and develop the confidence and empowerment to overcome insecurity and build unshakeable confidence.

Root Chakra Imbalance

The chakra system distributes the flow of prana or energy throughout your subtle body. Stress, illness, emotional upset, and conflict can all cause blockages or imbalance in your chakra system. All of the seven chakras are interconnected; when one chakra experiences a blockage or imbalance, it affects all the others. This disruption of energy can cause your mind, body, and spirit to suffer.

When your root chakra is imbalanced, it cracks the foundation of the whole chakra system. If you are just starting your chakra journey, it is important to balance your root chakra first. Imbalance in this chakra can cause you to find yourself coping with threats to your survival. These threats can be moving, changing jobs, reoccurring health problems, weight problems, sense of fear, or insecurity.

Underactive root chakra – When a chakra is underactive, it means that the chakra is experiencing a blockage or is not distributing the flow of energy. When your root chakra is underactive, it can affect your overall health.

Open the Root Chakra (red). This chakra is based on being physically aware and feeling comfortable in many situations. If opened, you should feel well-balanced and sensible, stable and secure. You don’t distrust people around you for no reason. You feel present in what is happening right now and very connected to your physical body. If it’s under-active: you tend to be fearful or nervous, and easily feel unwelcome. If it’s over-active: you may be materialistic and greedy. You feel as if you should be secure and are unwelcome to a change. Use the body and become aware of it. Do yoga, walk around the block, or do some manual house-cleaning. These activities let your body become known to you and will strengthen the chakra.

Ground yourself. This means that you should connect with the ground, and feel it beneath you. To do this, stand up straight and relaxed, put your feet shoulder-width apart, and slightly bend your knees. Move your pelvis forward a little, and keep your body balanced, so that your weight is evenly distributed over the soles of your feet. Then sink your weight forward. Stay in this position for several minutes.

After grounding yourself, sit cross-legged, let the tips of your thumb and index finger touch gently, in a peaceful motion.

Concentrate on the Root Chakra and what it stands for, at the spot in between the genitals and the anus.

Key Characteristics of the Root Chakra:

  • Grounding – Anchors our energy into the world and forms our connections with Mother Earth.
  • Security and Stability – Responsible for your sense of security and stability in your world.
  • Foundation – As the first chakra, it is responsible for the foundation you need to build upon during personal growth. You cannot grow unless you feel safe and secure.
  • Physicality – Highly responsive to your physical health.
  • Survival – Initiates your fight-or-flight mode and will to live.
  • Instincts – Embodies your primal and ancestral instincts.
