Hypnotherapy Depth Test 3 of 5

Hypnosis is a state of focused attention, and you’ve just demonstrated your ability to enter a deep trance state. We can work together to achieve your goals and make positive changes in your life.

Here is a sample script for a Hypnotherapy Depth Test:

Introduction

“Hello, my name is [Your Name], and I’ll be guiding you through this hypnotherapy depth test. This test is designed to help us understand the level of trance you can achieve, which will help us tailor our future hypnotherapy sessions to your individual needs.

Find a comfortable seated or lying position, and take a few deep breaths to relax. You can close your eyes if you like, but it’s not necessary. Remember, hypnosis is a state of focused attention, and you’ll always be in control. You can stop the test at any time if you feel uncomfortable or need to take a break. Are you ready to begin?”

Induction

“Take a deep breath in, hold it for a moment, and exhale slowly. As you breathe out, feel any tension or stress leaving your body. Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase with [number] steps, leading down to a peaceful and relaxing place.

As I count from one to [number], you’ll find yourself becoming more and more relaxed, descending one step at a time. With each step, your body will become heavier, your mind will quiet, and your breathing will slow.

One… you’re taking the first step down, feeling your body relaxing.

Two… your shoulders are dropping, and your jaw is releasing.

Three… your arms are feeling heavy, and your hands are relaxing.

Four… your legs are becoming heavy, and your feet are sinking into the floor.

Five… your body is completely relaxed, and your mind is quiet.

… and so on, until you reach the bottom of the staircase.

At the bottom, you’ll find yourself in a peaceful and relaxing place, where you can let go of all worries and concerns. Take a moment to settle in and enjoy the feeling of relaxation.”

Depth Test

“Now, I’ll ask you to respond to a series of suggestions, and you’ll demonstrate your ability to enter a deep trance state. Remember, don’t try to control your responses; simply allow them to happen.

Two… they’re getting heavier.

Three… your eyes are becoming sleepy.

Four… they’re getting sleepier.

Five… your eyes are now closed.

One… your arm is starting to feel stiff.

Two… it’s getting harder to move.

Three… your arm is becoming rigid.

Four… it’s impossible to bend.

Five… your arm is now completely immobile.

Two… it’s getting quieter.

Three… you’re speaking in a whisper.

Five… your voice is now completely relaxed.

Two… the clock is standing still.

Three… you’re losing track of time.

Four… minutes and hours are meaningless.

Five… time has stopped.

Emergence

“Take a deep breath in, hold it for a moment, and exhale slowly. As you breathe out, you’ll start to become more alert, and your body will start to return to a state of full awareness. You’ll remember everything that happened during the test, and you’ll feel refreshed and relaxed.

When you’re ready, you can open your eyes, and we’ll discuss the results of the test.”
