Here’s a hypnotherapy script to help individuals give up self-doubt:
Induction
(Soothing music starts playing. The hypnotherapist’s voice is calm and gentle.)
Hypnotherapist: “Welcome to this session, where you’ll let go of self-doubt and cultivate a more confident, empowered mindset. Find a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down, and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Allow yourself to relax, feeling the weight of your body supported by the surface beneath you.”
(Pause for a few seconds)
Hypnotherapist: “Imagine yourself standing on a tranquil beach at sunset, feeling the warm sand beneath your feet and the gentle breeze in your hair. The sky is painted with hues of orange, pink, and purple, and the sound of the waves gently lapping at the shore creates a soothing melody. With each breath, feel your body relax further, letting go of any tension or stress.”
Deepening
Hypnotherapist: “Now, imagine yourself walking along the beach, feeling the soft sand shifting beneath your feet. With each step, allow yourself to relax deeper, sinking into a state of tranquility. As you breathe in, imagine fresh, clean air filling your lungs, and as you breathe out, imagine any worries or concerns leaving your body.”
(Pause for a few seconds)
Hypnotherapist: “As you continue walking, notice the sound of the waves growing fainter, and the sensation of the sand becoming more stable beneath your feet. You’re becoming more grounded, more centered, and more connected to your inner self.”
Self-Doubt Releasing Section
Hypnotherapist: “Now, bring to mind a situation where you’ve experienced self-doubt in the past. It could be a fear of failure, a lack of confidence, or a critical inner voice. Allow yourself to remember the feelings and thoughts associated with that experience.”
(Pause for a few seconds)
Hypnotherapist: “Notice how self-doubt may have held you back, preventing you from pursuing your goals, expressing yourself authentically, or trusting your abilities. Recognize the negative self-talk, the inner criticism, and the fear of not being good enough.”
(Pause for a few seconds)
Hypnotherapist: “Today, you’re choosing to release the hold of self-doubt. Imagine the weight of self-doubt lifting off your shoulders, like a burden being removed. As you breathe out, repeat the phrase, ‘I let go of self-doubt,’ allowing those words to become a powerful affirmation in your mind.”
Confidence and Empowerment Section
Hypnotherapist: “Now, imagine yourself in a situation where you’d normally experience self-doubt. But instead, you feel a surge of confidence and empowerment. You trust yourself, your abilities, and your judgment. You remember your strengths, your accomplishments, and your resilience.”
(Pause for a few seconds)
Hypnotherapist: “Feel a sense of self-assurance and self-trust arising within you. Imagine yourself taking bold action, pursuing your goals, and expressing yourself authentically. You’re no longer held back by self-doubt; you’re propelled forward by your own inner strength and confidence.”
Future Pacing
Hypnotherapist: “As you move forward in your life, imagine yourself in various situations where you might be tempted to doubt yourself. But instead, you recall the feeling of confidence and empowerment that you’ve cultivated during this session. You remember the phrase, ‘I let go of self-doubt,’ and you choose to trust yourself, your abilities, and your judgment.”

Hypnotherapist: “It’s time to return to the present moment, feeling refreshed, renewed, and empowered. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine yourself becoming more alert, more focused. When I count to five, you’ll open your eyes, feeling refreshed and ready to take on new challenges.”

Hypnotherapist: “One… two… three… four… five. Open your eyes, and welcome back to the present moment. Take a deep breath, and remember the feeling of confidence and empowerment that you’ve cultivated during this session.
