EFT Tapping – Emotionally Focused Therapy Script

This professional EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) tapping script is designed to help reduce emotional overwhelm, calm anxiety, improve self-worth, support emotional healing, and encourage healthier emotional patterns and personal growth.

Important note: EFT can support emotional regulation and stress reduction, but persistent depression, severe anxiety, trauma, addiction, or mental health crises require appropriate professional support.

Step 1 – Identify the Emotional Intensity

Before tapping, ask yourself:

“How intense does this feel right now on a scale from 0–10?”

(0 = calm, 10 = overwhelming)

Focus on the strongest emotional issue present right now.

Step 2 – Setup Statements (Karate Chop Point)

Tap gently on the side of the hand while repeating each statement three times.

Even though I feel anxious, stressed, emotionally overwhelmed, and mentally exhausted, I deeply and completely accept myself right now.

Even though I struggle with low mood, self-doubt, unhealthy habits, and emotional pressure, I choose to begin healing with compassion and patience.

Even though part of me feels lost, emotionally tired, and disconnected from peace and confidence, I allow myself to become open to healing, growth, and calm.
