Personal Transformation Story 4 of 5
After a Regression Hypnotherapy Session
“I thought I was over it… but I wasn’t.”
On the surface, I had moved on.
Time had passed.
Life had continued.
But something still felt stuck.
I would think about them more than I wanted to.
Certain memories would come back unexpectedly.
And sometimes… the emotions felt just as strong as before.
It didn’t make sense.
I told myself I should be over it by now.
But I wasn’t.
During the regression session, I finally understood why.
As I went deeper, it became clear that it wasn’t just about the relationship.
It was about what it meant to me.
What I felt I lost.
What I believed about myself after it ended.
What I had never fully processed.
I wasn’t holding onto the person…
I was holding onto the emotional imprint.
And that’s what needed to be released.
In the session, I was guided to revisit that feeling—not to relive it, but to understand it.
And for the first time, I allowed myself to feel it… without resisting it.
Then something shifted.
The intensity softened.
The attachment loosened.
And I realised I didn’t need to carry it anymore.
After the session, it felt different.
The memories were still there…
But they didn’t have the same weight.
There was no pull.
No emotional charge.
Just… peace.
The biggest shift?
I stopped looking back.
Not because I forced myself to move on…
But because there was nothing left holding me there.
For the first time, I felt free.
Not from the past…
But from what I had been carrying about it.
