EFT Tapping Script – Emotional Healing & Behaviour Change

How to Use This Script

  • Rate your emotional intensity (0–10) before starting
  • Tap gently (5–7 taps) on each point
  • Speak slowly and honestly (adjust wording if needed)
  • Repeat 2–3 rounds, then re-rate intensity

Round 1: Acknowledging the Problem

Karate Chop (Setup Statement):
“Even though I feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, and these habits, I deeply and completely accept myself.”
(Repeat 3 times)

Tapping Sequence:

  • Eyebrow: This stress I’ve been carrying
  • Side of Eye: This anxiety in my body
  • Under Eye: These patterns I feel stuck in
  • Under Nose: The pressure and overwhelm
  • Chin: The habits I can’t seem to break
  • Collarbone: The tension in my body
  • Under Arm: The heaviness I feel
  • Top of Head: All of this built-up stress

Round 2: Exploring the Emotional Root

Karate Chop:
“Even though part of me feels stuck in these patterns, I’m open to understanding what I truly need.”

Tapping Sequence:

  • Eyebrow: Maybe this has been protecting me
  • Side of Eye: Maybe these habits had a purpose
  • Under Eye: Even if it doesn’t serve me now
  • Under Nose: I acknowledge how I’ve been coping
  • Chin: I’ve been doing the best I can
  • Collarbone: Even if I feel tired and overwhelmed
  • Under Arm: I’m open to a new way
  • Top of Head: I’m ready to shift

Round 3: Releasing & Reframing

Karate Chop:
“Even though I’ve held onto this stress and these habits, I’m ready to begin letting them go.”

Tapping Sequence:

  • Eyebrow: Releasing some of this tension
  • Side of Eye: Letting my body calm down
  • Under Eye: I don’t need to hold this so tightly
  • Under Nose: I can create space in my mind
  • Chin: I can choose a different response
  • Collarbone: I am learning new patterns
  • Under Arm: I am gaining control
  • Top of Head: I am allowing change

Round 4: Building Confidence & Control

Karate Chop:
“I am open to feeling calmer, stronger, and more in control.”

Tapping Sequence:

  • Eyebrow: I can handle my emotions
  • Side of Eye: I am stronger than my urges
  • Under Eye: I trust myself more each day
  • Under Nose: I am building confidence
  • Chin: I am creating healthier habits
  • Collarbone: My body can relax
  • Under Arm: My mind can slow down
  • Top of Head: I am becoming more balanced

Round 5: Sleep & Physical Calm

Karate Chop:
“I give myself permission to rest, recover, and feel safe in my body.”

Tapping Sequence:

  • Eyebrow: Letting go of the day
  • Side of Eye: Releasing overthinking
  • Under Eye: My body knows how to rest
  • Under Nose: I allow deep relaxation
  • Chin: I support my heart and body
  • Collarbone: I choose calm over tension
  • Under Arm: I am safe to relax
  • Top of Head: I welcome deep, healing rest

Closing Statement

Take a slow breath and say:
